List of David A. Clements's Reviews
I have told Dr. Clements that if he ever moves away I will be in his suitcase. He has had my back for 20+ years. I am a difficult patient, at best. I have multiple auto-immune issues. All you need to do is TALK to this physician. Be honest. He will do right by you!
Am very lucky to have found this doc. Moved to area, needed specialized medical care. Dr Clements is always personable, listens, obviously is on top of all current medicine and has managed both my and husbands care magnificently. Tina, his nurse is an immediate friend, Not unusual to get a personal call with info, advice, or to see how you are. Any referrals have been to docs of equal caliber. We pray for his health and happiness! Gotta keep this doc??
I moved to the Asheville area 5 years ago, after having the same General Practitioner for 25 years in Ohio. Needless to say I was apprehensive about having a new doctor. But Dr. Clements has been awesome. He’s right on top of the most recent thinking and is applying technology to make his services more efficient and effective. He was astute enough to diagnose an issue based on my blood work that resulted in me having some very specialized surgery at Duke that has had huge benefits to me.
During my New Patient appointment Dr. David Clements spent a remarkable amount of time reviewing my medical history and concerns. He was interested, helpful, and very thorough. I also received a prompt follow-up call based on results of my lab work. I could not be more pleased.
Races thru apt. Abrupt. No explanations. No follow thru. No treatment plan or questions regarding one. Hurries (speech/mannerisms) thru apt. Diagnosed 3rd stage kidney disease which 3 other clinicians ( 2 Dr's, 1PA (his)), questioned, based on "blood work" results in his report, saying" bloodwork looked normal for person my age". This quoted comment came from a nefrologist with whom I'd scheduled an appointment after 5 months of being unable to extract any approaches to treatment from him.
Very knowledgeable and helpful with medications. Talks to you and explains why and what to do. Personable and kind.
he called me personally before he left town to advise of an unusual circumstance and prescribe a different medication. Super !!
I had to go to David clemtents on 3/31/2010 because my doctor that had goined him quit in Fed,2010. I am on 2 kinds of blood pressure medcine, plus 2 other meds for seizures. I was taking 50 mg of atenolol, and he decreased it to 25 mg When he changed the med to 20 mg of lisiprol i could walk 10 ft, and my heart would be rasing like i had been chased. I called his office on 12.00 pm one day and he never called back until the next day after 3p.m I could tell the nurse had been fussed at because she seemed upset over the phone. Medcine is serious for peoples health and he should have been more concerned about it. He wants to change medcine every visit so the pateint has to come back every 2 months. I think he thinks only of himself, instead od other people.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
