Dr. L. Evan Michael's Online Review Report Card

As is the case for many, I have had the need to visit with numerous physicians for routine and specialty needs. I can truly say that my experience with Dr. Michael, his professional staff, and his office staff was second to none. Simply put, I found Dr. Michael to be extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and most important, caring. The same was true of everyone else I interacted with in the office. I could not recommend him more highly and have done so to some of my closest friends.

I honestly hate writing bad reviews especially when I see nothing but great reviews but this was not my case today. I have had an unknown rash which is super painful on and off since 2016. It took a month or so to be seen as a new patient. The front staff and medical staff are super nice and helpful. I saw Dr. Michael today and left in tears. I wasn’t ask much about my history I was more directed that this breakouts that are so itchy were due to a cognitive behavioral approach meaning I’m unknowingly or knowingly scratching . I was told to keep my nails short and wear gloves at night. I was so shocked that I didn’t even bring up my on going issues with adult acne. I did get a biopsy and maybe that will tell me something. I’m not saying Dr. Michael has this approach or poor bedside with everyone but in my case that’s how I felt. I don’t expect a diagnosis or miracle remedy I do expect to be treated seriously and for some compassion .* I just received the nicest phone call from Dr. Michael. This is unheard of and I so appreciate this . I will be seeing him again.

I was so pleased with my first visit with Doctor Michael and his staff that I recommended them to a friend and he is now a patient. They are very professional and thorough. They explain everything and give you a printout of any instructions you may need. I gave them 5 stars.

Was a satisfying and safe visit, everyone was friendly and caring, Dr. Michael was knowledgeable about the issues I am experiencing and recommended some things that could help my skin problems also prescribed some products and medications that are helping my outbreaks from ongoing conditions that I am having and feel confident in the care and treatment I am receiving.

Dr. Michael is thorough and explains what he sees and does very well. The office staff is friendly and I'm pleased to be one of their clients.

Dr Michael was very knowledgeable and was great about explaining things in an understandable way. Great precautions were taken to insure the safety of patients and staff regarding COVID. I liked that photos were taken of various skin conditions so they were in my record for future visits. The office is very convenient with lots of parking. Treatment rooms were comfortable and modern. Front office staff were welcoming as well as helpful in setting up future appointments and processing no-touch payment. I highly recommend Dr Michael and his practice.

Easy to make an appointment in a timely manner (instead of months later). Dr. Michael spent a lot of time listening to me and answering all my concerns thoroughly. He and his team were caring, empathetic, and took the time to get to know me. Definitely recommend!

Everyone is super nice and professional. Dr. Michael listens to all my concerns and is willing to answer any questions I have. A very efficient clinic!

I recently had my first visit with Dr. Michael for a recurring, severe skin rash. The protocol they have established in response to COVID-19 was above any Ive experiences to date. The staff was incredibly courteous, the facility is state-of-the-art, and Dr. Micheal immediately diagnosed my issue and recommended a course of treatment that gives me hope I can cure and hopefully prevent future issues. I highly recommend Dermatology of North Asheville.

On time, courteous, professional, thorough....most thorough exam I’ve ever had! So glad I switched to this practice!!
