Refused to offer me the best medically option for my skin condition and instead shamed and bullied me about the spots on my skin.

I came in with a skin condition that I've been dealing with for 10 years and was referred out of the VA for care and instead of caring for me, he bullied and shamed me about the places on my skin that was scabbed over and refused to provide or schedule the best medically available treatment. He wouldn't even take a closer look with magnification or take a sample to figure out exactly what was infecting my skin so that it could be treated. He said that the best medical treatment out there was not even something he would consider recommending.

Since moving to Asheville 3 years ago I was in need of a dermatologist and I glad to say I found Dr. Wilkinson. His pleasant professionalism gives me the full confidence level one wants from one's doctor. If it's an office visit (screening) or a procedure to be done I can say from experience Dr. Wilkinson always has my best interest at hand.

I have seen Dr. Wilkinson twice to have growths removed, which required minor surgery. I am very satisfied. He is friendly and professional. He and his assistants explained what was happening before and during surgery. Aftercare was explained to me several times and I was given a helpful handout. I have minimal scarring from the largest surgery.

Dr. Wilkinson may be a great doctor but we couldn't get past his office staff, Ingrid in particular, who was rude and uncooperative. I would not recommend this place due to its staff.

Went for a once a year check up. These are usually pretty routine. No issues. Approached aggressively and was rude.Did not finish appointment with him. Something wrong. There was nothing that was explained or triggered this behavior. Cannot recommend him. Better options available.

I found Dr Wilkinson to be highly professional . He went to Great Lengths to explain everything and also made effort to accommodate my extra issues. I highly recommend him. He seemed quite wonderful and confident as is his staff.

My experience as a senior patient was met with a condescending attitude, unnecessary removal of a tiny freckle on my face leaving a scar and refusal to freeze a few unsightly lesions that come with psoriasis without an extra charge (paid by Medicare in the past). So goodbye to Dr. Wilkinson!
