Knowledge and bedside manner could be improved. He and his nurse do minimal required.
Great doctor
I saw this guy once and that was one time too many. He couldn't believe I had gotten my own blood work done through Private MD and I spent 75% of the initial visit getting lectured by him about it. I've been a physical therapist for 25 years and have worked with countless doctors. I couldn't believe how this guy acted. I did not return. Terrible.

Dr owens is a good doctor but the support is questionable, too much hold time, orders put in wrong, waste time trying to get referrals just totally unacceptable communication availability
Dr Owen's has always responded to all my questions and given terrific care. I trust him
Does not care about patients! The worst doctor I have ever met!! I ended up having to have a foot of my colon removed because of him. He did not listen to my concerns & never laid a hand on me.
Dr. Owens has been my primary care doctor for a few years. He listens to my concerns and has a caring bedside manner. He has provided exceptional care at every appointment. I am female and have never experienced the treatment that other females have commented about in their reviews here. My husband just started seeing him also and was very pleased with the care he received.
I thought Dr. Owens was absolutely wonderful. He was personable, kind, caring, and an excellent listener. I am not a fan of doctors in general, but feel so lucky to have found this exceptional doctor!
I have been his patient for over 3 years. When I first went to him, I was concerned that he was not listening to me. He sent me to many specialists and never really treated me at all. He is over-testing and just sure you are more critical than you are (alarmist). I quit going to him for about a year and then decided it was too much trouble to find another Dr. so I went back for my yearly. When I was suffering from nausea, with the virus around, I tried to just get some pills for the nausea. He made me come in and sent me to the ER thinking I had pancreatitis. It was just a stomach virus. What a fiasco. I will not go back.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
