Best Phlebotomist ever, amazes me each time I go.
As always, I came away from my appointment feeling heard, and confident in the solution we came up with for my situation. Dr. Chad patiently listened to my concerns and questions and made sure they were all addressed. I so appreciate him and this practice!
Krystle makes blood draws SO quick, easy, and (relatively) painless! :)
Tom is a kind and earnest PA, and a great listener too. Brandy, Krystal and the rest of the staff are wonderful. The facility is nice and I’ve never waited more than 10 minutes to be seen.
The people who work here are kind and unstressed, which is rare and wonderful, and the doctors and technicians are professional, with high expertise, in my opinion. I very highly recommend this practice.
everyone is super friendly, caring and good at what they do.
I have a great experience at IFMA since my first visit in early 2024. My PA, Tom Everts is highly knowledgeable, helpful, engaging, thoughtful and kind in his approach to health care. Krystle is also the best! I hate blood draws but Krystle makes it so easy. Appointments are super easy to book, the staff is always super responsive and nice. Highly recommend.
I love being a member of this practice - I went in to get bloodwork done this morning, waited less than five minutes, got blood drawn and was out the door in another 5... maybe less. Friendly staff, pleasant office space. It's a great experience.
Trust in my PA, Tom Evers! Thorough review of Labs, effective game plan to improve my health.
Became a patient here after COVID because I, like so many post COVID, was being gaslit by physicians that I was whining about how I felt. No one did their due diligence. And in the long run, neither did Jenn Shriner here at this practice. She did find out that I had ZERO, yes ZERO, testosterone left in my my body which was ultimately ONE of the last pieces to the saga I went through after COVID. So, I had anemia, no testosterone, hyperthyroid, new onset cardiac arrhythmia, my GFR was significantly low indicating kidney disfunction, on top of my normal autoimmune ailments. I sought care in an Emergency Department several times in the course of 4 years post COVID. The Testosterone really helped my situation. I began to gain muscle and was able to think straighter especially after getting my thyroid under control. I work out everyday and have always taken my physical fitness seriously. So to be unable to climb a flight of stairs because I had no muscle made me 100% sure these medically trained human beings missed things. And let’s not forget about the menopausal symptoms and lab work that came back all over the place. I was called by Jenn last summer to go to the ED because my thyroid levels were so incredibly low that she was concerned for my life - and rightfully so. When I told her over the phone I can’t get myself there so I’ll just sleep it off, instead of calling an ambulance, she hung up the phone telling me to lower my dose of my meds at least. Had I followed her instructions I would have been dead. I didn’t take my Synthroid for over a week straight and it took every bit of that to begin to level out the intense hyperthyroid symptoms, including chest pain, I was having. When I began the lower dose I was unable to take it everyday or the hyper symptoms would start again so I had to take it every other day, and work my way up to everyday. I’ve always had Hashimoto’s, having been diagnosed with that autoimmune disease over a decade ago by my endocrinologist who has since retired. (The best doc I’ve ever had. I was with him for 15 years and miss him greatly!) Later - this year she told me she didn’t have one regret how she handled that situation. Which sorta made me laugh. I’m not sure what changed her demeanor, but after she came back from maternity leave she wasn’t the same care taker. None of my diagnoses were correct. “Inflammatory Arthritis” is not a diagnosis and that is how it is written in my chart. When you pay top dollar for care, you expect it to be excellent. And excellent is not what occurred here under her care. After all this she decided all by herself that one medication I have been taking since 2012 was no longer necessary and so she just stopped calling it in! Yes you read that correctly. So as I finally am starting to put my life back together post COVID, my own physician is going behind my back and causing me harm and further stress in her malicious actions. Obviously I told her all of this and I left the practice but this only further caused harm as I don’t have time right now with my new job to try and find another doctor. They take an oath to DO NO FURTHER HARM. And unfortunately I cannot say that about Jenn Shriner, her care, her medical knowledge, and the way she implements her practice. I would never recommend her to anyone I know and love. I hope this helps save someone else from the saga that I went through. I know it’s hard to find a good doctor in Asheville - very hard since HCA bought Mission. I would recommend folks travel to Charlotte or any surrounding bigger city where the docs are better because they, themselves, are treated better by the folks they work for. It makes all the difference.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
