Excellent from start to finish!Dr. Lindsee McPhail is one of only 3 surgeons in WNC who is qualified to use ETEPs and TARs procedures to robotically correct a 6 cm hernia and 16 cm disastasis, and send you home the same day! She and everyone on staff from the front desk to the operating room were prompt, pleasant, and super proficient. Pre- and post-op instructions were clear and easy to follow, and nurses were readily available to answer questions following surgery. I highly recommend Mission Surgery!

My dad had a wound that needed surgery, according to the wound center. He was referred to Mission Surgery. The first appointment with Dr. Yancey she barely talked about anything other than that his smoking was going to cause slow healing and raise the risk of infection. I understand and appreciate her being up front and informative but she went beyond that, she went on and on about what an issue this would be. Her attitude seemed very judgemental and I even felt belittled as I sat and listened. However, both she and the wound center did not offer any alternative to the surgery so we just took a deep breath and moved forward. With the surgery the small hole (like a boil that would not heal) became a large hole and the skin in the area was bunched up and sewn in a big roll, we were never given any reason for what was done or why just more talk about how bad it was that he smokes. Dr. Yancey was then out on maternity leave and the young lady we saw was very sweet but did very little to help and did not answer any questions, even when asked multiple times. Dr. Yancey returned for his visit this past Tuesday, 1/11/22, she looked at the area and we explained to her the ups and downs we've experienced. We were then given the same condescending speech about his smoking and informed that she would not do anything else unless he got an infection. He tried to explain that even within the last couple of years his wounds from falling and such have healed well and was just treated to the same belittling speech about smoking, she didn't even listen and was not open to discussion or questions about options for wound care. I was not going to do a review but they emailed me and asked for one so I felt I should be honest.

Awesome! Dr. Peeter Soosaar was beyond expectations! Truly a man of faith and belief in our Great Physician above. My wife and I were very happy with his professionalism and genuine care throughout the experience (my wife’s appendectomy via laparoscopic procedure). Thank you for being a praying doctor! The receptionists and nurses here were just as special in meeting our very needs.Five stars are not enough. I will give five more!… ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
