Visit itself went fine. However, I was charged a hefty "new patient fee" on top of my visit not being covered by my insurance which I had confirmed before arrival. Paid $350 overall. Although that is extremely steep for a normal check up, I am most dissatisfied by the prescription I received - it was only valid for 1 year, and when I went to get a new pair of glasses 13 months after, the office stated I would have to be seen for the prescription to be extended. I have no new vision concerns or reasons to need to be seen - this office is completely unaccommodating and money grabbing. I have never encountered a doctor who sets such a short expiration window for GLASSES, or whose staff is not willing to help

Dr. McKee is so amazing. I would recommend him to family and friends. Dr. McKee and his staff are all caring, helpful and friendly. I have very difficult eye problem. One of his associates referred me to Him. He was “unpleasant from very start. After initial exam came in room and stated he didn’t know why I came to see him wasn’t anything he could do. It wasn’t just What he said but the attitude when he said. It. VERY COLD AND UNCARING.

I could not be more grateful for Dr. Mckee and the staff. At every appointment everyone made sure to make an uncomfortable situation comfortable. I had strabismus surgery to correct an ongoing insecurity that bothered me for years. This surgery done by Dr. Mckee changed not only the physical appearance of my eyes, but my confidence in my ability to work with people and even interact with my friends!

Dr. McKee is one of the best doctors we have ever seen. Thank God, he performed a perfect surgery on my daughter's eyes for strabismus (eye turning in). Now her eyes are straight and perfect. He is very professional and great with kids. I'm thankful for Dr. McKee and I totally recommend him.

I had been experiencing double vision for about 5 months, went to other drs. that didn't seem to want to do anything so I got an appointment with Dr McKee, he checked out my eyes and did the surgery and corrected my vision. He is a very good Doctor and I will highly recommend him!!! Very pleased with every step of my procedure!!!

Dr McKee is probably the best eye Dr and surgeon that I have personally been to. He has great nurses and receptionist in the office everybody is laid back easy going and understanding. Dr McKee and everyone there actually listens to what you have to say and will take their findings and your thoughts and opinions and discuss with you your best options.

I had an appointment with Dr. McKee this morning. I drove from Charlotte. Myriah, Tech brought me back. Very personable able, listened and explained all that she was doing. Dr. McKee came in and immediately put me at ease. Calm and reassuring voice, asked many questions, listened to my responses, had my last office visit notes to reference and explained all that he was going to do. I now have a new eye doctor!! Very impressed. And the front desk ladies are phenomenal!! Just a truly great experience. Completely woth the drive. THANK YOU ALL
