Dr. Phadke did a partial hip replacement for me in 2018.He and Zoe, his assistant were wonderful at the hospital and everytime I went for a follow-up appointment!I strongly recommend Dr.Phadke for all your surgical needs.
I had a cyst on a tendon on my middle finger on my left hand. I had worked for a doctor that injured his hand and had Dr. Phadke fix his hand with great success. So I called and was able to get in right away. Dr. Phadke took time to listen to my concerns, give me options and really allowed me to be a part of the decision making process. We decided to go through with surgery in his office. The staff was very professional, Dr. Phadke kept me informed every step of the way. He gave me clear instructions on after care for my hand. The next morning, my hand was very painful and the medication was not controlling the pain. I called the office and had a new script sent to my pharmacy. They were prompt in responding to me. After 2 weeks my stitches came out. He offered physical therapy but I told him I could exercise my hand. He told me in 4 weeks I would be back to normal. He was right. My hand is great. Im so glad I chose Dr. Phadke and I will do it again if I ever have another need for a hand surgeon!! - Sara McCarter
Had surgery to repair a ligament that was torn. After surgery I had no motion in my wrist, so I was sent to physical therapy. At every follow-up appointment I mentioned to Dr. Phadke that my wrist hurt when bending back or with pressure he said stiffness.. After months of physical therapy, I regained forward motion back in my wrist BUT STILL could not bend back and add pressure due to extreme pain! Even my PT at that point thought something more was wrong because of the amount of pain I was having with bending my wrist back. Dr. Phadke said if my problem hadn't seized by my next appointment (Feb 17th) that we would look more into things. At my appointment Dr. Phadke again told me that it was yet again "stiffness" and scheduled my next follow up for AUGUST. At that point I was frustrated and decided to seek a 2nd opinion and THANK GOD I did! Turns out in the process of him repairing my ligament, blood flow got cut off to my lunar bone in my wrist and it had started dying and caving in!
Dr. Ignored that my surgery site had staphylococcus infection right from the beginning. I had to wait for his release to see another doctor. 5 months later i had to have a 2nd surgery with another doctor and then it got better. WORST DR. EVER
My husband went to dr phadke for help on his hand and needed surgery. After the surgery he sent my husband home with open wounds and exposed nerves in his hand from the surgery. They did not wrap his hand up they just sent him home with a sling. Yes he was stitched up. Dr. Phadke Sent him home with no conciliation, did not say what to look forward too. Sent him home with no medication for pain. Dr phadke said he gave him enough pain meds in his iV while under anesthesia so that should last. We came to his office the next day and complained about the service and he showed NO REMORSE and still didn't get proper service or council on what to do with the healing process. My husband kept telling phadke about the issues with his hand that he was having after the surgery and phadke responds was wait till it heals. Then we wait and the issue is the same. Me husband's hand was not stitched properly they stitched his hand while his fingers was not straight and now his fingers is bent towards his hand and he can not open it. My husband's therapist also see the issue with the stitching being done wrong. Now where seeking further assistance and may sue
This doctor is very misleading. He lies, and doesn't seem to care about his patients. He schedules for surgery, lets you get prepped and then comes in and says he can not do it. He needs more information and will reschedule when he receives that information. He never calls back and didn't even try to contact the doctor he needed to get the information from. I wouldn't suggest this docctor to anyone.
Dr. Phadke assisted me in the care of a recent shoulder injury in the Emergency Room. I found him to be an extremely competent surgeon who quickly diagnosed the problem and developed a treatment plan. He fully explained the treatment options, including the risks and benefits of therapy alone versus surgery. I highly recommend his care!!!!
Not at all happy,Had stitches out today.I was told tendon tore again.I have been in cast splint, impossible. 2ND DAY AFTER SURGERY WASN'T ABLE TO PICK up finger.Still cant. They say I did it.I know they r gonna say that but I didn't use the hand.So I determining now what course of action to take.I know what I've been told.I hope carolina hand specialist do the right thing.DR.phadke as well
Whatever you do, do not go to Dr. Phacki in Gastonia. That is the most uncoordinated office I have ever seen in my life. I have been lied to, mislead, and over all disrespected. They have rude staff and I feel like Terry and I have just dodged a huge bullet by not letting this surgeon and his nimrod staff become who was supposed to be helping him. The surgery scheduler who I have yet to talk to seems to always been on lunch, she will not return your call. And even if she did it would take 10-14 days for that call to happen as "she's busy" (probably at lunch again). They are "in between" office managers so you'll have to talk to the director who will tell you 4 times that they're doing the best that they can and he runs 6 other offices so he's a busy man. The receptionist will lie to you about minuscule thing. But don't worry, because like the director told me, they are nationally recognized for their excellence.
After surgery complete, very abrupt. No question time. No compassion.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
