Novant Health's Online Review Report Card

The billing office is terrible. They incorrectly charged me for a mammogram and I tried from May to July 2021 to resolve it. I was given the runaround so many times and they had the gaul to send it to a collection agency. In the end I was correct and they had to remove the charge from my bill but never an apology or acknowledgement that they were wrong in wasting so much of my time. What a shame this is such a nice hospital only to be ruined by the billing offices lack of competence and customer service. I will NEVER go back there for a mammogram

Came in due to covid haven’t kept anything down for 6 days. The doctor that gave me the IV an antibodies was by far the best doctor I’ve ever had. Very respectful playful yet serious kept the spirits high no matter the circumstances. 10 out of 10 would recommend. That doctor needs a raise for going above an beyond.

This was my first surgery and first time being put to sleep. Novant doctors and nurses were wonderful. I was so scared. They talked with me and assured me all would be fine. It was. I had no issues. The doctors and nurses truly cared about my well being I am so thankful Dr. Toler is the best he did my surgery. He is so kind and patient and truly cares about his patients. My primary nurse she really was great. She saw me cry and all. She calmed me down and talked to me every step of the way. My anesthesiologist Mr. Van Vliet tho I never met him before was so nice as well.

My daughter and I were visiting Ocean Isle Beach when she became sick  and I took her to the Emergency Room here.  I can not remember the nurses name that took care of her but she was amazing.  We could not have asked for better care.

Two weeks ago I brought my dad in cause he has severe copd. He was wheezing couldnt breath. Just horrible. The Nurse Amanda and the PA was amazing. They took great care of my daddy even the CT was great. She nicknamed my father wheezy and it made us laugh. We got there about 330. Didnt leave till after 9. Well about 5 my dad was thirsty and wanted a coke. So I went to the vending machine. Pam told me if I left the room again she would not let me back in. Now let me tell you I also work there. The ed was not busy even Amanda the nurse said idk why shes acting like that because we arent busy. Well as Im sitting in the room with my dad. I went to the rr and realized I just started my period. So I get back to the room basically bleeding because Pam told me if I let she wouldnt let me back in. I called my husband to bring me tampons but Well I couldnt leave. The nurse Amanda had to bring me pads because it was soaking thru my jeans. Well at 8pm my husband wanted to bring us food because we hadnt ate. I also was worried about leaving to make sure we got dinner. Thankfully by that time PAM was gone. If I treated a patient and that family like that I would not have a job. I love working at the hospital but if this is how we treat others. Im saddened. Pam that was completely rude and unprofessional

Terrible service treated us like we weren’t important than didn’t even give my dad his discharge papers so we can create a “my chart” and get his Covid19’s test results well it’s been 4 days they just now called and left a voicemail I try to call back and wait 10 mins just for someone to pick up the phone for the women to be rude as hell. I hate to be disrespected and im supposed to be giving BIRTH there in March. Thinking of switching hospitals Very unprofessional.

I would give the star rating a zero. Not a place to bring newborn in. This hospital is good for nothing. I definitely would not recommend anyone to go to this hospital at all. First off they don’t know what they are doing second of all they are only working there for money not like they really care about there dam job. Probably one of the worst hospital ever.

Very positive experience at this facility. My procedure was handled very efficiently and in a timely manner. Staff was very professional helpful and friendly. Would recommend them to anyone.

From top to bottom Novant shepherd me through my kidney stone adventure with exceptional care and customer focus. All members of the staff knew what they were to do and kept me informed throughout my visits.

I am so grateful of my experience at Novant ER. From the staff who checked me in to the Doctor and nurses I received care from they were great. They were very thorough and thoughtful throughout the process. I was suffering from Pneumonia due to covid and they made sure they helped me get back on my feet. Much love and respect
