Horrible. I went in for a full body skin check. I had to wait a long time for her. She looked at one spot, shaved it off and sent me on my way, ignoring the rest of my freckle-covered body and not taking time to answer any of my questions or check other spots I was worried about. Then had the receptionist tell me I need to schedule to come back for a full body check — obviously so that she could bill me twice for what could have been done in one visit if she’d have spent more than 5 minutes with me. I’ll go somewhere else that actually wants to make sure I don’t have skin cancer.

Had a first-time appointment that fell during the Covid-19 pandemic. The office administrator called me ahead of time to gather my health info over the phone since the office would only be staffed by the doctor during this time. When I arrived, there was mask and sanitizer laid out for me in the entry outside of the office along with written instructions of what to do and where to go once I got inside the office. Dr. Sparks wore PPE during my appointment. She informed me that due to the pandemic she was the only one in the office and only had one patient in the office at a time. Dr. Sparks wore PPE during my appointment. She was prepared, prompt, thorough, knowledgeable and efficient, and she provided me with information about the procedures I had done during my appointment. The medication she prescribed for my skin issue has been extremely effective in treating a skin condition that I have had and I have been experiencing real relief for the first time in six years (something that had not happened after consulting with my doctor and another dermatologist. Highly recommend.

Do not take advantage of them!!!!!

Several times I was out of there before my appointment time! She's on-time always. She's abrupt, but knows what she's doing.

This woman is a butcher. She unnecessarily removed a dozen of my moles. I eventually got a second and third opinion and they confirmed every removal and perimeter removal was unnecessary. From age 12 she had me coming in every 6 months for removals, and I was convinced I was covered in skin cancer. If that wasn't enough she did a terrible job at the removals. I have scars all over my body, including a giant keloid scar on my forearm caused by a perimeter removal that was 3 inches across that she only put 3 stitches in. It bled for a week. I was 15.

I visited Maggie Sparks when I had a spot on my face. At first it looked as if it was a wart, but then it began breaking down. Eventually I had a hole in my face. So when I went to visit Maggie Sparks I asked her if it could possibly be cancer. She then stated that she didn't know what it was very rudely but said it didn't look like cancer. She took a biopsy, and told me I would hear back. I NEVER received a call. So after a week, and a half I called. After explaining I never got me results the person on my phone says "oh you got cancer". She didn't state what type or anything. She acted upset when I was trying to found out more information. Then she goes to say that I have a scheduled surgery almost 3 months out. A horrible place to go. No bed side manner, and very rude.

Dr. Sparks is a wonderful physician. She is knowledgeable, efficient and caring. Her office staff is professional and accomodating. The office and exam rooms are very clean. I Feel very comfortable consulting Dr. Sparks.

Very good doctor. Extremely focused on any skin problems

Where to begin..... Dr. Sparks is by far the worst medical professional I have ever had the displeasure of meeting in my entire life. To make a comment about her bedside manner, rude would be a major understatement. She blamed a terrible reaction I had to an outrageously overpriced cream SHE prescribed on the fact that I was allergic to Neosporin (which I have used without problems my entire life) and when I attempted to explain this fact and that she may be wrong she responded with "Mmm okay, I have been doing this for thirty years, so I think I would know what i'm talking about". Not only did this encounter break the trust any medical professional is responsible for establishing with their patient,I felt she was patronizing and disrespectful. I would suggest saving yourself the debilitating frustration and avoiding this woman at all costs unless you are certain you have skin cancer/may be dying and she is your only option. If this is the case... good luck my friend. Be sure to take a shot of moonshine on your way in and *may the odds be ever in your favor*
