They are not there to help African American Americans . Lady was talking to me as I’m slow . Lady I have a master degree.

I have been going to Black River since my son was a boy he is now a 29 year old man. I have had nothing but excellent care and honest, true concern from everyone that works here. Sara , the FNP , saved my life, she helped me get a lymph node that was the size of a small grapefruit looked at in depth , and it came back cancer. If not for her, I wouldn't of had it looked at, I didn't have insurance. Thank you Sara , you have changed my life!! ❤️ I am done with my chemo and radiation treatment now 5 weeks and am getting stronger every day!! Sara is a great doctor and a wonderful caring person!!

The facility is decent place for the area. Staff is friendly.

The lack of communication with the patients is crazy. My calls don’t get returned.. I asked for a note for work for my positive Covid case.. they said they would email it and still no email. I guess I’ll have to call again Monday and probably leave another voicemail. I don’t feel valued as a patient here at all.

Don't... I have been on the phone with this,office 5 times today. Since 10am I could cry. I have a horrible headache, COVID with a sinus infection. No one feels comfortable giving me an antibiotic for a sinus infection that a CT scan showed I have. The worst head pain and pressure now I have to go as a walk in tomorrow, WHILE IM SUPPOSED TO BE ON QUARANTINE!! Because THEYRE NOT COMFORTABLE.was supposed to have a virtual appointment, BUT SHE WASNT COMFORTABLE EITHER!! Meanwhile I'm in pain. Thanks black River ! AND they have NEVER Returned my calls! Ever! I absolutely DO NOT recommend this,office!

They do not help with anything. I went one time for my reoccurring headaches and one of the doctors said that I was “wasting my grandmas time” because I wanted to know what was wrong. Then I went back recently for stomach and chest pains and they completely ignored that and decided to take my blood and said that they would call back Friday and if I didn’t hear anything Friday it would be Monday of the next week. I keep calling and asking for the doctor who worked with me and they never gave me my results. All she told me was that they were abnormal and didn’t know what was going on and said they were going to call back but NEVER did.

This place is a joke. The level of inefficiency that is handled in this Burgaw location simply reminds me of why I usually travel the 30 mins it takes to get seen by my primary care physician in Wilmington NC. The front desk staff is lazy in their effort to get patients taken care of and the nurses have a sense of superiority that you simply have to wait for them to get to you and how ever long it takes it however long it takes. I had to get a TB test done and read. I got the test done and of course had to wait 2 days to get it read. I tried to make an appointment to get it read and was told to just come back at any time. So I did. I walked in and was checked in. No one said that I would have to wait over an hour for a non appointment appointment. All I needed was a view to my arm and a signature. I will not be coming back.Oh and course I asked for the office manager and she conveniently was at lunch. Right.

I am satisfied with the amount of care the staff provides! I have gone to the Burgaw location multiple times where they always had the excuse of being booked and never had the time to see my children, whether it be an appointment or walk in. The Atkinson location goes above and beyond and I always feel content when leaving the Atkinson location, knowing that my children have had the proper care. Ms. Brandi always makes sure everything is taken care of — along with the front desk ladies. They never make me second guess anything nor do I ever feel like my children have not been treated as a priority.

Sarah is the best doctor I’ve ever had I love her to death thank you for everything
