UPDATE Patient Care contacted me at 1pm today and stated that they reviewed my grievance again and found NOTHING wrong with any of this What a joke This isnt overHorrible It’s a long story but I was in a motorcycle accident and this ER didn’t even bother to clean my road rash. They bandaged up my open wounds with dried gauze dirt and debris still stuck in it Also told me my knee was fine but wouldn’t give me a MRI because they said I didn’t need one. Yet two days later when another hospital ordered a MRI they discovered a torn ACL I filed a grievance with “patient experience” and was sent a letter telling me that the care they provided was adequate and no adjustments to the bill would be made. Unacceptable When I have other doctors telling me that the care provided was not thorough or proper I refuse to believe there is nothing that can be done. These are just a few pictures of the debris and dirt that ARMC left in my open wounds DO NOT go here if you can avoid it They obviously care more about money than providing proper care to their patientsAfter reading some of the other reviews that have been left I see it’s obvious that they have a habit of not being thorough I guess they just want to get you in a room rack up as much money as they can and get you out as fast as possible This hospital is a joke
5 star reviews from us. Everyone that we dealt with were the utmost professional caring and responsive medical professionals. Thanks from the bottom of my heart
I brought my 5 year old in as he was having trouble breathing. He was immediately taken back and taken care of. Dr. Brown is amazing. My son had croup and the nurses and staff were so friendly and amazing. This is the second time I’ve had to bring my son to the ER and both times he was seen immediately and the staff was excellent.I’m so grateful for the staff that works the night shift and for their families as they are missing out on spending time with their families due to being at work to help mine.

Went to be seen for nausea vomiting abdominal pain pain during urination and chest pain. The doctor was very kind but gave me a diagnosis of acid reflux and did not reconsider his diagnosis despite me telling him I knew this wasn’t acid reflux. I began hyperventilating. The nurse walked me out to the sidewalk while hyperventilating and left me there.I went to Morehead hospital in Eden the following morning. After routine testing they found that I was suffering from an infection caused by Klebsiella pneumoniae. Once it reaches your kidneys it can cause kidney failure but before that point causes ALL of the symptoms I was experiencing. The doctor at ARER completely ignored my symptom of pain during urination and IF I had listened to him and not gotten a second opinion and simply taken the Pepcid he prescribed I could have died of kidney failure.I also waited for over 5 hours in the waiting room which was nearly unbearable because they have several TVs running with different channels the multitude of sounds is overwhelming when you’re sick and no water available in the vending machines. Would leave zero stars if I could.Edited to update I contacted their billing department weeks ago to dispute the care that I received on a Friday and was told someone would contact me no later than the following Monday. This dry review response is the first contact I’ve had and was a disappointment.Second edit They refuse to allow me to dispute this bill due to services rendered and I STILL have not heard back from patient services. This has been ongoing for 2 and a half months. I am DISGUSTED with the way Alamance Regional and Cone Health allow their patients to be treated. I’m essentially being robbed blind I have another bill from another hospital because of their negligent care but I’m still expected to pay for it.

Terrible My daughter was taken to this hospital for a head injury she needed staples was given zero information on concussion protocol. I asked for her doctor to call her she is terrified they refused said come back in. Absolutely Negligent
For visits in 2020 2021 including 2 surgeries this year an over night stayReally awesome staff front desk people.Clean. Yes there are longer wait times in the ER due to covid 19 BUT the staff has to address more urgent patients FIRST.Staff of ARMC you are appreciated Keep up the great work

My husband has been waiting for hours so I took him some Gatorade only to get met by a rude nurse telling me I had to leave while shaking her hands at me. When I said okay she then proceeded to tell me that when he gets a room I wont be allowed up there either. I understand. Thats completely fine if thats hospital policy. HOWEVER it was completely unnecessary to yell this information at me while shaking her hands. Might I also add that there were PLENTY of other guests who had people with them in the waiting room so Im genuinely confused as to why I was talked to the way I was.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
