List of Brian T. Szura's Reviews
Dr. Szura operated on my shoulder in 2017 doing a bicep release and removing a bone spur impinging on the shoulder joint. While the recovery and PT was tough, I have to report that after a year, the shoulder was back 100%. I have had absolutely no issues and have full range of motion. I have compared notes with others who had similar surgery and they all had ROM limitations and other issues, but I doubt they followed through on the PT. The PT was painful and difficult but well worth the effort. I would exit PT soaking wet from the exercises. I put in the time and effort and worked through the pain and am back 100% after about 12 months. If you are planning similar surgery start the pain meds before the surgery. Don't wait like I did. I waited until the pain started and the meds didn't help for hours of EXCRUCIATING pain. Only needed the meds for two days and then it was tolerable. Dr. Szura did a great job!
I had a Worker’s Compensation claim and went to see this doctor and he is horrible. He told me that my pain wasn’t real. He yelled at me when I was describing my injuries. I would never in 1 million years recommend him to anyone. I think he works for the Worker’s Compensation company. Did not care about my injuries and it did not listen to anything I said.
Brian is informative and helpful but appears to rush through consultations. He is consistently late for appointments (between 15 and 45min)
Dr Szura frequently made me feel 2" tall. He had terrible bedside manner and decorum. I found that he would only speak to my husband or partner (male) versus to me directly. He wouldn't knock when he came in, gave me an injection without disinfecting the skin first or warning me that he was about to do so (he then made a comment that he has no sympathy for people who have tattoos that complain of pain). He didn't believe me after I thought I re-tore my shoulder, and went in for "exploratory" surgery to find a full thickness tear which required substantial repair. He always seemed in a rush to get out of the room, and made me feel crazy even though I know my body.
I cannot say enough great things about my experiences with Dr Szura. They were able to fit me in and I’m so grateful. Wish more Dr’s treated their patients this well!
After arriving early with completed paperwork, I still waited for 15 minutes after my appt time but loved the experience! Dr Szura was wonderful and his assistant also.
Dr. was informative, answered my questions, told me my options and explained procedure before starting.
Dr Szura was able to answer my concerns and gave me options for treatment.
I can’t say enough about my experience with Dr. Szura. He is always willing to discuss treatment options and actually listens to his patients. I have been treated for tendinitis “tennis elbow” in both arms and also patella/knee deterioration. I appreciate that he takes in to consideration my past history and treatments when performing his diagnosis. He is also quite personable, which goes a long way.
Operated on knee and both Achilles over 25 years ago saw again this week, as always, the best, wouldn't think of seeing anyone else

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
