After going to Dr. Dornic fo glaucoma treatment he had it in check with eye drops. I then developed cataracts and had a difficult time seeing at all. We decided on cataract surgery which was a great success. Not only did he remove the cataracts, but placed a stint in each eye to cure the glaucoma. He and his staff are amazing, as well as being kind and personable!

Professional and Precise, my lens implant went seamlessly perfect. I now have 20/20 I live in a high def world this is amazing. Dr. Dornic gave me his personal cell # - a quick text to have a question answered takes the guess work out of your post op care if you forgot something. I feel like a teenager now with my perfect vision, I wish I could have done this sooner. Your staff is most professional and knowledgeable, I was so comfortable throughout this entire process, went out for breakfast immediately following surgery, Thank you Dr. Dornic you are the BEST.

I had a problem getting to a post op appointment. The woman I talked to gave me a 9:00 appointment, which I couldn't make. Then all of a sudden she didn't have anymore appointments till weeks away. I was fine with that but when my eye started hurting I called and asked for an earlier time she and she said I wouldn't take the early appointment so that's all she had and it was weeks away. I have always believed that a Dr. Is only as good as his staff.

The front desk staff is so rude and condescending. The doctor was impatient and uninterested. Overall it was a waste of time, I was not taken care of properly, and I was insulted by the blond front desk woman.

I've been trying to get my eye surgery done from them for a while now (over a year at a minimum to say the least). They keep saying we're waiting on your prior authorization from your insurance and I've had shoulder surgery since Dr. Dornic's office told me that THE LAST TIME. Less than 3 minutes ago, I was placed on forever, told the office manager is in the bathroom, we'll call you next week, to having the phone hung up on me and being sent to voicemail. HORRIBLE customer service. I don't know, but I really hope Dr. Dornic. doesn't know this is how his patients are being treated by the front desk staff.

First appointment. Waited for over 20 minutes. No information offered from office staff on reason(s) for the delay. Picked up my insurance card and left.

The most pleasant doctor to interact with since my arrival in NC 8 years ago. Excellent clinician and does not dilly dally once he has made a diagnosis. You can tell by the crowds in his Smithfield office how I am not the only one with this high opinion. Take a trip to his Cary office. I gladly take the extra miles. 👍👍👍

My daughter had lasik with Dr. Dornic and is absolutely thrilled with the results. The consultation was easy and the staff seemed very pleasant and informative and answered all my questions. They remembered her name when she came in for the surgery even though they had only met her once before at the appointments, which was nice. I myself had my own eye issue where he came in on a weekend to see me for a emergency visit. I would highly recommend Dr. Dornic and his staff.

When first researching a doctor for Lasik surgery Dr. Dornic’s name constantly came up. I learned that a number of my friends, as well as their friend had him perform their Lasik. One friend even said her eye doctor had him do his eyes – not sure you can get a better recommendation than that. After my consultation I felt even more confident. Not only was he great and took the time to answer all my questions but his staff was wonderful as well. Even though he told me what to expect I was still surprised as how fast and easy the procedure was. I couldn’t believe how well I was able to see right after the procedure. He did tell me to expect a bit of discomfort the night of the surgery but provided drops that helped. I’m so glad I did it. My only regret is waiting so long to do it.
