Dr. Blount was the only physician to see my daughter after she had a terrible car accident- the many others I contacted were more concerned about the possibility of litigation rather than helping a young woman with a severe concussion. He took his time with us and explained everything clearly to her. Dr Blount listened to her, ran the necessary tests, and is just an amazing physician. I highly recommend this doctor!

Over the last 20 plus years, I've found Dr. Blount to be knowledgeable and attentive to my personal needs. I highly recommend him.

Dr Blount is a rare breed whereas he is fully attentive to the entire health profile and not just a specific injury. Spends the time necessary for dialog, discussion, and next steps.

Dr. Blount is amazing. Professional but so nice - great bed side manner. He is the most knowledgeable of any doctor I've ever seen. I can't say enough positive things about him. The practice itself is great too. I'm sure any doctor you see you'll be happy with. The staff is great as well.

He is a very caring and patient doctor...maybe the best in those areas that I have ever seen. He is not rushed but most interested in the overall well being and his meeting the comprehensive needs of his patient whatever they may be.

Dr Blount is the BEST! I love the "dukemychart" option in which I can ask questions and usually get a response from Dr. Blount or his PA that day! When I come in for my annual visit, he truly seems happy to see me, he asks me questions regarding things going on in my life. And when I have a concern, he immediately jumps up from his chair and completes a thorough exam of my ailment. I love his bed-side manner and knowledge of all of the medical questions/needs that I have.

Dr. Blount always takes his time and is very thorough and reassuring. I am dealing multiple health issues and various specialists and I know I can trust Dr. Blount to keep track of their various recommendations and keep an eye on the big picture. He will give you his honest feedback and abdicate for you if he feels other doctors are not giving you enough information. He responds promptly to questions through their online portal. I can't say enough good things. I would recommend him to anyone.

I think very highly of Dr. Blount. He has a exceptional medical knowledge and always spends a lot of time with me explaining any ailments/conditions that I might have and making recommendations. And at 69, I have had plenty of ailments and conditions. He is very thorough and makes you feel that he truely cares about you. I would recommend him to anyone and plan to keep him as my family doctor for as long as I can.

Part of the concept of Family Practice is that you don't need a whole bunch of different doctors to treat the different members of your family. Dr. Blount takes it to the extreme though and almost refuses to send you to a specialist. He's not the best at removing an ingrown toenail or dealing with a kidney stone or setting a uniquely broken finger - sometimes you just need a specialist and he won't volunteer one. He's also way too caught up in his numbers "45% of people with that blood sugar will be diabetic by the time they are 60". I don't care about that - figure out why my blood sugar is high and help me to avoid becoming part of the 45%; and just telling me to eat less pasta isn't the answer.

I was referred to Dr. Blount by a co worker. Nice office with plenty of sports jerseys on the wall. Dr. Blount was very impersonal, rushed, and doesn't listen. I tried to contact him with questions after my appointment and he returned my phone call,.... and told me I WAS OCCUPYING HIS PHONE LINES AND NOT TO CALL AS THERE ARE OTHER PATIENTS THAT HE NEEDS TO ATTEND TO! Needless to say that he doesn't care about his patients and only cares about the money. DO NOT RECOMMEND
