Dr. Eckel goes beyond most doctors in his communication with his patient. He always take the time, whether in person or follow up phone call to discuss and answer all my questions. He looks wholistically at all problems before making recommendations for care. Pays attention to detail in our conversations which is comforting because it illicits probing questions that aids in his care for me.

Dr. Eckel is a wonderful doctor who has taken care of me and my mother. He is a very compassionate and caring doctor! I would truly recommend him for a nephrologist.

I have been seeing Dr Eckel for several years at the recommendation of my Cardiologist. From the first time I went to him he was great. I first met his nurse and she was very caring and took time to go over my health records and other vital signs. When I met with Dr. Eckel he reviewed my medical history including lab results and discussed what his concerns were. He then did additional lab tests and when they came back called me to discuss the results. Not enough space to complete recommendations

Dr. Eckel is so personable and really takes time to listen to the patient and family. He not only looks at the Renal system, but he looks at the patient as a whole. He has been a blessing for my father.
