BEWARE - - They will charge you $1.00 "to keep your credit card on file." What a great revenue scam.. This has been reported to the Attorney General. This is literally medical billing fraud.

Dr Malik is very thorough and caring. Awesome surgeon! Great personal/healing vibe!

Dr. Malik was very professional and handled my hemorrhoid surgery with care. He took the time to answer my questions and put my mind at ease.

If I could give him zero stars I would. I do not understand why this person is so accoladed. There used to be a website that actually talked about his performance. It has since been" conveniently" been deleted. This "physician" made mistakes with my 2007 surgery to the point I was near death. He wanted to redo the surgery which he botched only a few days later after all my veins were collapsed after continual blood draws by the hospital. There was no way I would have survived any surgery in the short time frame suggested by Malik. Even in the drugged-up state he left me in I asked for a second opinion, and this is what saved my life. I truly believe this. There was another reviewer that wrote a comment about Malik and mistakes with his/her gall bladder surgery (this has also been "conveniently" removed from the web). This person stated that the nurses said he/she should not have survived the complications of his/her surgery due to the way that this was handled by Malik. I only say these things because these are true and authentic as this is my experience with Malik. I do not recommend him under any circumstance.

This office cares more about getting paid then it does about the care and well being of it's patients. I showed up for my recheck and was turned away after waiting 30mins ( left work early and drove 35 mins out of my way to go to said appt.) Because I had not paid the bill in full yet. Asked about setting up a payment plan and was told that I wouldn't be seen until the bill was paid in full. Wasted my time, gas and left work early only to be turned away. "Money over wellness" should be the motto on the door for this Surgeon. My wife called to cancel my remaining rechecks and told them how upset I was, it was then that all of a sudden they would see me. The bridge was burned at that point. Wasted time and gas in this economy. I should send them an invoice for my time. I will not be returning to this office for any reason what so ever. I suggest you don't either.

Two times now, Dr. Malik has gone out of his way to help me. Believe me, I needed his help. In general I’m not a fan of of going to doctors. So, it is odd that I would think enough of him to write a review. However, he has a great personality, he is smart, he is very upbeat, and is very skillful. It is also worth mentioning how much I like his staff. The ladies at the desk treat you like family and his nurse Nancy is about as nice as you could imagine. An office visit there feels very personal and unlike most doctors offices that I’ve been to. So, really I can’t say enough good things about this group. I’d recommend Dr. Malik and his team to anyone. They were great and really helped me when I needed it most. 10 out of 10 as far as I’m concerned.

I was referred to Dr Malik by another Doc. The following didn't go well: 1. One day prior to appt, I get a call from his office: Actual appt time: 11 AM. They ask me to come in at 9 AM as doc has a surgery appt at 11 AM. I am in at 9 AM, finish paper work by 9:30. They keep me waiting until 10:40 AM. 2. The doc arrives at 10:45. Rushes through the appt, not willing to listen to me at all. Probably running late for his surgery appt. However, He examines me and immediately recommends a surgery. Just because you're a surgeon doesn't mean the patient has to undergo a surgery when it is not really needed! 3. After a week or so after the appt, I keep getting text and email notifications randomly saying I have appt with Dr Malik. I call and make sure these were canceled. This happened at least 5 to 6 times. Every time I called and ask why this was happening, the lady at front desk casually says she's new and doesn't know why this is happening. 4. My card was charged for another $75 after 2 weeks of the appt. I called in and asked for a bill, to which I was promptly reminded that I had signed a form that says they can charge me anytime for outstanding payments. I never received any bill for that. Based on this experience, it looks like they are a bunch of thieves. I would avoid this Dr at all costs.

Do not, I repeat: DO NOT sign the form that says you authorize them to charge your card anytime for outstanding balance. They will go above and beyond to misuse it the way they like. In my case, numerous (at least 5) attempts were randomly made by them to schedule appt without my consent. I received text and email alerts saying I have an appt with the doctor which I didn't schedule. It looks like they were hoping I'd fail to cancel it on time so they could charge my card. But I remained stubborn and made sure to cancel all of them. Upon inquiry I was told they were not sure how the appt got auto scheduled. Also, just because a doctor is a surgeon, doesn't mean that a patient has to undergo surgery when it's not needed. This doctor recommended me to undergo a surgery for a small hemorrhoid which was not causing me any trouble! I'd avoid him at all costs.

Based LD's review of May 2021 I felt inclined to leave one of my own as it relates to Dr. Malik. I had fallen down the stairs in 2006 and due to this it required chest tube surgery in my left lung to eliminate the blood that had accumulated due to the fact that I could not breath properly. Malik put the chest tube in the wrong place so the blood would not drain out of my lung cavity. After a short period of time he insisted on another surgical procedure to correct his mistake. I asked for a second opinion. If I had not done this I would be dead at this time. I did submit my claim to the Medical Board but it was denied. Why is it that only medical and legal "professionals" have boards that protect their interests? These people need to be responsible for their actions just like the rest of us. I really wonder how many people like me and LD die every year because these doctors do not know what they are doing and yet they are still protected by their "boards".

The office operation is redundant. A week prior to my appointment I was called requesting insurance information, I gave it. Upon arriving at the office 5 mins prior to appointment time, I had to fill out new patient paperwork, which took 15 mins minimum. I am an existing patient. When I enquired about why existing patients must do this, I was told ALL patients must do this annually. I was then taken in to see the doctor 45 mins after my appointment time.
