Rushed though initial appointment and ordered MRI. Refused to prescribe standard dose of medication for claustrophobic patient for MRI. I switched physicians to a doc who cares more about the comfort of their patients!

I was told Dr. Chante was an excellent doctor. My initial visit was rushed but I chalked it up to a busy schedule. He ordered a MRI of my spine and a follow up appointment. I told him and the nurse both, that I have significant anxiety due to claustrophobia and would require medication. He called in 2 mg. Of Valium. The standard order is 10 mg. I had my first appointment with Dr. Shanti today for my chronic back pain and was very impressed with his level of expertise. He is a great listener and and very wise on prescribing medications. He has guided me on further steps and after the necessary tests I will meet him for a follow up. But it was a relief to meet a great doctor for my chronic back pain. I highly recommend him.

Sat in office for an hour without being told my doctor was running behind schedule bit was still not told untill out of frustration i had to ask still treated like so?. If not for the other doctor,s nurse i would probably been sitting there as they went home for the work day. By this time my attitude was poor none the least she helped me with kindness and understanding Quite the professional.

Best office experience and Doctor experience ever! Cary ortho staff went above and beyond to help me when I experienced some trouble with my insurance company. They cared more about me, my pain and getting me in to see the Dr than the insurance issue. That alone is priceless! Then to follow with another great experience with Dr Shanti. He actually listened to me. He was sympathetic to the level of pain I’m experiencing, was very informative and quick to get me scheduled for the “plan A” to fix my issue. My appointment to discuss plan B is already scheduled if plan A doesn’t work. I’ve never had any Dr or office staff care this much. I absolutely recccomend them!
