List of Paul Enochs's Reviews
I've waited several years before posting this review because I wanted to make sure I still felt the same about this experience after time has passed. I received the Obalon balloons a couple years ago from Dr. Enoch's clinic. During the initial consultation I was reassured that Obalon was a perfect fit for me and gastric bypass was not necessary. I had 60 lbs. I wanted to loose. I explained my concern with Obalon because I'm not a big eater I do not consume large amounts of food daily therefore the space in my stomach was not abnormally large. Against my intuition I had all 3 balloons placed over the required timeframe. Absolutely no weight loss. I expressed my concerns weekly to the bariatric team and I was always give the reply the next balloon will bump you up to the next level. I did speak to Dr. Enoch once and he stated that my obesity was on a cellular level. That was it. Nothing more or less from Dr. Enoch. I was so upset about the absence of weight loss I just wanted the balloons out in the 5th month. Dr. Enoch was out of the country at the time and another surgeon removed them. I never heard from Bariatric Specialists after the removal day. I would research your surgeons and what they offer. Do not loose 6,900 because a bariatric team has the gift of painting a beautiful picture of what you long for. Not only do I feel like I was scammed but the lack of misinformation and patient care was devastating for me emotionally.
6 years ago Dr Enoch gave me a SIPS procedure. I lost the 100 extra lbs. No diabetes, no cholesterol. Cannot gain weight, cannot lose any more. He saved my life!
Thru my gastric by-pass i could not have had another great experience with this. Surgery went well, i had no complications at all and still don't. He's a very caring professional dr. Thank you so much always showing me you care. God bless
I am currently going through the process to obtain gastric sleeve surgery with Dr. Paul Enoch. I started the process in April 2017. My first coordinator quit and I was assigned another coordinator. Communication with coordinators was good until I finished all my pre op appointments. It's been over 3 weeks and no response to my messages. Staff turnover rate is high and customer service is not the best. If you use this place prepare for your messages to be returned a month later, to have several coordinators, and for a delay in your process to submission and approval.
Dr. Enoch gave me a tool that helped me change my life. He gave me new life; a new me! He is such an awesome human being too. I was so blessed the day he became my doctor. I just thank God for sending such a brilliant doctor to NC. He took such good care of me an he has a reputation around the hospitals as the doctor whose patients do so well after surgery that they don't have to be readmitted to the hospitals. He really is the BEST!
i knew when I decided on Dr Enochs that I might have long office waits, however I was willing to deal with it to get him. He sits and listens to my concerns and explains everything patiently and in detail. I suppose this is why he stays behind. My only complaint would be on response time from case managers (however, I understand they were short some staff and new staff has been employed). Response time for everything else has been within 24hrs.
Don't even start this process with this office unless your prepared to do everything yourself. They say you get a "case manager" to help you and answer questions- that's a joke. They won't return your calls, messages, emails... and when they do, it's vague answers that don't help you at all. I'm a self pay patient and no one can give me an amount to have ready to pay. From the research I did (on my own) the range is anywhere from 9,995 - 26,000... that's not helpful when getting a loan. Everyone's information is different, from what pre-op appointments cost/include to whether there's a 10 or 15 minute grace period with appointments. The only reason I gave this one star is because Dr. Pilati is awesome and the only helpful one here. If you want a practice that's actually going to care and be helpful... find somewhere else.
The Best !!!!!!
DID MY GASTRIC BY-PASS 2.5 YEARS AGO AND WAS A TOTAL SUCCESS! LOST 130LBS AND NOW 172LBS AND 6 FOOT 1 INCH TALL...NO MORE INSULIN, AS I WAS TAKING 2 DIFFERENT ONES..NO MORE C-PAP MACHINE AS I DON'T SNORE ANYMORE!!..AND I HAVE BEEN TOTALLY TRANSFORMED! IN FACT I AM UNRECOGNIZABLE TO MOST PEOPLE!... DR ENOCH AND HIS TEAM ARE THE BEST AND I OWN A LOT TO HIM! I LOOK AMAZING AND FEEL GREAT! THANK YOU SO MUCH DR ENOCH!
I like Dr. Enochs, but I do not think he respects patients' wait time to see him. I have waited 3 hours to see this doctor. He will talk to you and listen to you, but it is not fair that the wait is so long. You can wait as long as 2 hours in the waiting room and another hour in the exam room or visa versa. I know because I have been there. I saw him today and for the first time I actually got out of his office the fastest I have every gotten out. Be prepared to wait to see Dr. Enochs.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
