Triangle Visions Optometry's Online Review Report Card

We have been going to Triangle Visions Optometry for many years. Our recent experience with Mike wasn't very professional nor helpful. My husband had bought an Oakley frame for $370.00 and Jessica confirmed that if anything happens to this frame for next two years everything will be covered. Unfortunately nose pad broke off the frame in less then 8 months of that new frame, so we went back to the Optometry and talked to Mike about it. Mike started with really negative response that oh this will not be covered unless you bought warranty on it. Then, he asked us to go to Mall which is 35 minutes away and go find a Oakley store there and ask them to help. We went to mall and a gentleman informed us that you will have to take your frame back to where you purchased from and they should be able to have it fixed for you. We went back again to optometry/Mike again this time, Mike wasn't very happy again to see us and he asked us to pay $25.00 for shipping and handling to send this frame back... basically Mike gave us run around and didn't wanted to help. We felt we weren't welcome in the optometry after all these many years, may be because of our color? Not sure what the reason Mike had to act the way he acted, but they lost our business. WILL NOT GO BACK.

They replaced my 20/20 prescription that I had with a 30/40 one in their electronic records. Now I cannot get new glasses without having worse vision. I was wrong to trust them when they wanted to do an eye exam when I came in wearing glasses that gave me 20/20 vision. They just wanted to do it so they could bill my insurance. And the way they replaced my prescription in my records with one that gave me worse vision is nothing short of medical malpractice. I plan to sue if I am unable to access the 20/20 prescription I had. Hopefully my glasses can be analyzed in order to find out the 20/20 prescription data that I had before.

Dr. Patel was terrific! Very knowledgeable, sensitive & informative. Staff was great too. Walked away very impressed with the overall experience. Highly recommend.

Everyone was very nice and the glasses I ordered arrived within one week, which is faster than ordering a pair online. The contacts trial I received was terrible for me, very uncomfortable and made my eyes red and painful for days. I’m very disappointed with my glasses prescription. I’m sitting in my kitchen reading the time on our microwave and stove and it’s much clearer with my old Rx. Also was talked into getting transitions and they simply don’t get dark enough outside for a person with photophobia, which the team knows I have. I probably won’t wear this $508 (after insurance) pair of glasses. Overall, I think the team is kind and attentive, but I probably won’t be going back to Triangle Visions because I simply don’t like the products they sell me. I think the recommendations to get transition lenses was a bad one (too dark for indoors, too light for outdoors) and my Rx should not have been adjusted.

I went there as I was having headaches, they gave me bifocal and my headaches worsened. I call them after 2 months of trying the glasses but they were too busy to talk to me and said the store will give me a call. Till today I have not received any calls from them.

Great experience. No complaint at all. Dr. Demetrice Clark was very friendly, and knowledgeable of my vision problem and took action to treat it. I would definitely recommend her to my family and friends. Thank you

Such a pleasant experience! All of the staff were very kind; the front staff, the nurses, and the doctor I was with were all wonderful. I came to this location because I was out of contacts and could get in sooner than at the TVO I have been to before. Will be making the extra drive to experience the welcoming atmosphere and 5 star service!!
