The physician I had was fine (Dr. Bruce). The staff on the other had is a MESS!!! From the person that answers the phone, to the person that verifies your appointment and on down the line. Some of the RUDEST and UNPROFESSIONAL people I have encountered. I actually HATE calling the office because I know there is going to be "attiude" from the beginning. Crystal, is the only person I've ever spoken with that doesn't seem to be a complete and total piece of work!!

Paul Enochs almost killed my wife. If he is doing your surgery, run like you are being chased by a bear. Once your surgery is done and the check clears, he will give you the run around. I guarantee he has plenty of lawsuits and might have another one on the horizon.

I thought this was a good place to have weight loss surgery but it has a lot of problems sometimes they will get back to you they ack like your are a problem to them I have been sick with Heartburn and they don't know what to do are think its a joke im ready to go some wear eles its real sad

I have had three much needed surgeries with Dr Jon Bruce. He will forever be credited with saving my life; as well as my wife’s. He is professional and calming. I’ve lost over 100 pounds and got my life back. Thank you to Dr Bruce, Sara, Shannon, and the rest of the staff.

Dr Enochs is the very best bariatric surgeon in the Triad!! My surgery was 12 years ago, and I've had zero problems and have maintained my weight loss!!

Dr Bruce aka Superman... this man has completed FOUR surgeries for my wife and I... all successful. Wife had RNY, then a self inflicted ulcer that had to be removed. She reached goal weight and rid herself of silent reflux that was slowly killing her. I originally had VSG for weight loss.. reached my goal losing over 100 pounds. I developed self inflicted bile reflux and was revised to DS surgery on 2.18.2021. So far reflux is gone and weight loss will come as a benefit. The best thing about Dr Bruce is his personality and bedside manner. He tells it like it is, but is quite compassionate. You can tell he truly cares for his patients. If you want to get good insight into his calming tone, there are YouTube videos of him narrating his way through actual procedures. This alone will relieve you of any angst regarding his abilities. I am biased, of course.. as he did actually save my life!

I have not yet had my surgery it’s scheduled to be done in March 2021 but the past 6 months I have had a great experience with WMBS dr Bruce is my surgeon he has been great so far I’m confident with him as my surgeon that my surgery will be successful thanks I’ll update my experience again once my surgery and recovery is over

I will preface that I have had no experience with the doctors. I called the office to setup an initial consultation to convert from sleeve to bypass. I was told before they schedule appointments they need my medical records. I was directed to print out the generic WakeMed ROI and fill it out and fax it to their office with all of my past surgeon's information. I did that. When I called to confirm that WakeMed Bariatric had recieved my ROI I was rudely informed by Charyl that "they don't request records. I need to get a record release from my old surgeon, fill out the release, then have my surgeon fax them the records". I was honestly floored, I've worked in the medical field for 2 decades and never once have I had a doctor's office refuse to request my records and that I need to request them and then have them sent to them. I stated my confusion about it to Charyl in which she said "we just don't do that here". This was after I called their office on Friday, was directed where to find WakeMed's form and to make sure to fax it to the their office. In all honesty it would've taken Charyl 2 minutes to fax the release to my surgeon's office, but she refused to. So, I definitely will not be pursuing any sort of care through WakeMed Bariatric.

Best weight loss clinic ever! Dr. Pilati is so amazing and his staff is amazing also! I’m so glad I choose them!☺️

Dr. Pilati is a superb Dr. and surgeon. Truly caring and very talented. I recommend him 110%.
