Waverly Hematology Oncology's Online Review Report Card

My daughter is getting good care for her breast cancer. I attend every doctors appointment and chemo session with her. My complaint is that I feel invisible to the doctors and most of the staff. The least they can do is say hello but they usually don't even take time to do that unless I say hello loudly first.. I always say hello and rarely get a response back. Yes, their focus is on my daughter but what happened to just being polite and recognizing that someone else is in the room. I am never given a chance to ask a question and have never been told goodby by any of the doctors on her team. I could butt in while a doctor is talking to ask a question but to me that is impolite. Doctors need to be taught to respect family members, too. We are providing the at home care and would like to be able to ask a question about at home care or for clarification about something the doctor says. They do not provide an environment to do so.

We are very pleased with the ongoing care and support my dad receives at the Waverly Hematology Clinic from the infusion nurses and including caring staff like Jasmine and Ryan. Just today (yesterday and today) one of their office team, Katie, was extremely helpful with navigating the complexities of MyChart so that I would be able to keep current with my dad’s appointments and ongoing care, test results, appointments, etc. Sincere kudo’s to Katie and everyone at the Waverly practice.

So thankful for Dr. Mark Graham, Susan Blumenthal and the staff at Waverly for seeing me through a second breast cancer journey. That's in addition to ongoing care and hematology issues over the past 12 years. Dr. Graham remains so up to speed on everything - an avid, perpetual learner who is happy to share his knowledge with you, and deliver the highest standard of care. The team truly sees the "whole person", especially when incidental medical issues crop up, as they did for me this time.

why sit in a room for an hour and get no service. I am the patient taking day of work, come in early as request, thou appt is 1:20, still no effort. i put a grievance with patient relations.

Cancer survivorship is life long and it is important to have a trusted medical oncology team after treatment. My breast cancer diagnosis was 12 years ago and I’ve relied on Dr Mark Graham and Susan Blumenthal PA since that time. I could not be in better hands to insure my continued health. They are the best!

I'd like to commend Susan Blumenthal, the PA I meet with regularly. She's a very intelligent and caring person. She explains medical topics and recent tests clearly, never seeming rushed. She remembers concerns from the past and keeps up with my experiences. She listens to questions and gives me good answers and useful suggestions. I enjoy and benefit a lot from meeting with her.

dr graham is superb and all of his assistants are excellent the complete care. That I have received is very good

Wonderful staff from reception to nurses. Dr Grahams PA Susan Bluementhal so kind and easy to speak to. Nicole my nurse is lovely and efficient.

Dr Susan Blumenthal is outstanding!! She is so very kind and caring and took her time to make certain that all my questions were answered!! Her office staff and nursing staff are just as amazing as Dr Blumenthal!!

I recently had a multi day hospitalization. My first. I was initially anxious and unsure. That didn’t last long as, from the outset, the doctors and nursing staff kept me fully informed and engaged in decision making. I would highlight the professionalism, knowledge and communication skills of Dr. Mark Graham, who was truly exceptional as the lead physician on my case. I do not have the superlatives to convey my appreciation for his service. I also would highlight the exceptional treatment by the entire nursing staff. While I cannot say my inpatient experience was pleasurable, I can unequivocally say that it was made the best it could be by the doctor(s), nurses and staff. For that, I am grateful.
