I have been to many mental health people over 25 years. Hands down best experience EVER Dr Crouse is AWESOME
Ive been going here for years. I love the staff and all of my providers. They have all behaved very professionally and have been very flexible and understanding. The front desk staff are welcoming and extremely nice.
I love my Dr. here she is always here helpful and I dont show up at lunch time
Dr. Michael was nice.
I have to admit I was super nervous about meeting with someone who I do not know or have not met prior to the video chat but it was such a pleasant experience The doctor I met and talked to was very nice listened well she knew all the right things to ask me it felt like after I gave her my crazy description of what I have been experiencing and why I was reaching out to her. I would totally recommend MindPath Care Centers they have a great team and have everything handed even new patient paperwork via email safely of course. I will continue to see my doctor at MindPath they are awesome
I went to this office many yrs ago Durham location and saw a provider I was very pleased with which unfortunately left. Recently I have found I needed to see someone again to situate my medications after childbirth. I have since moved and have seeked care closer to my home but was unable to find a provider I I was comfortable with and decided to try MindPaths Chapel Hill location. I have been exceptionally pleased from Brian at the checkincheckout and my provider Alesia Patterson. She is a a caring soul that genuinely wants to help. I will continue to drive to get this quality of care I’ve not been able to find elsewhere
I see both a psychiatrist and a therapist at Carolina Partners and have been extremely satisfied with both. Yes sometimes my psychiatrist gets busy and I can feel that shes rushed but I never doubt her care or concern for me. I have seen several psychiatrists and therapists in the past 20 years or so and I can honestly say that Ive got the best providers now that Ive ever had.
Understaffed. My provider understandably ran away to another practice. She kept having to do her own admin work because there was often nobody at the front desk.I had a decent provider and the adminstaff were patient with me when I missed appointments. They went to great lengths to ensure my medications were refilled when my provider left to bridge the gap until my appointment with the new provider.Alas I am frustrated by the lack of administrative staff and am trying to get seen elsewhere. I shouldnt have to wait 20 minutes for the desk person to get back from lunch. Either dont schedule appointments to start during lunch or dont eat lunch when appointments are scheduled
I saw 2 different doctors and both of them made my conditions work because they didnt know much about the medications I was on. Dr. Payne was the worst. I had been taking Xanax for almost twenty years because it worked. Dr. Payne refused to taper me off making me go cold turkey. I was used to taking 3mgday. I went into withdrawal hallucinations convulsions nervousness etc. I started sleepwalking and had a couple of falls one of which led to a concussion. After looking up Xanax withdrawal on Google I learned that going cold turkey can kill you. I went to my regular doctor and he gave a reduced but effective dose. While I was there he tried to call Dr. Payne and was put on hold for twenty minutes. He got disconnected and tried to call again but he couldnt get through at all. I too have found these practitioners very hard to reach. They have an answering machine that suggests you go to the nearest ER. Oh thanks a bunch. Also Dr. Payne only works on Wednesdays and Fridays. When my doctor finally reached her on a Friday she refused to speak with him about me until I go there and sign yet another kind of release phonecalls.I suffer from agoraphobia so going means my husband has to lose work time to take me there. He has been having to watch me as I sleep so I wont fall and hurt myself again in my sleep. This latest action or disaster has cost him about a week without sleep or working to take care of me. He is mentally and physically exhausted as am I.She is young inexperienced incompetent and dangerous. One time I had to wait over 2 hours to get seen because the girl at the front desk told me she had notified the doctor that I was there but apparently forgot. I will never use Carolina Partners in Mental Health Durham again.
Ive been to several Carolina Partners locations as Ive moved around the Triangle area in the last years but this was the only CP office with which I had a bad experience. The staff here was nice but the psychiatrist I saw Dr. Ruminjo was rude and each time I saw her she was checking her phone instead of listening to me. I asked her to stop and she denied ever doing so. I knew for certain that she wasnt listening when I told her I had bad allergic reactions to several specific drugs and then 30 minutes later she said she was going to change one of my prescriptions to one of those drugs. I confronted her and she again denied it. I tried contacting the office manager but never received a call back. I switched to CP in Durham and am very happy with the treatment Ive received there.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
