Tameka Hill is an awesome scheduler. So smart and helpful! 5 stars isn't enough.
Horrible experience lack of knowledge of the human body and very unempathic. She gave me a rescue inhaler and my lungs are clear. I Had severe sinus issues coming from allergies and she gave me an inhaler. This doctor is a joke.she also said I couldn't afford treatment ..which is very disrespectful so you can basically say she refused to treat me. Frankly tired of being in a hospital or doctor office once a week on to naturopathy for me.
I had the opportunity to meet Shana C. W. Brye, MSN,RN,FPN-BC. Shana makes you feel relaxed and she takes the time to explain any questions you may have. Shana and her team are very knowledgeable about knowing if you are or have an allergic reaction to foods, medicines, and things of the environment. I found out that I am not allergic to a medicine that has been on my medical chart since my childhood. This facility do honor both medicare and medicaid insurance. This is an awesome place to go to find out what you may or may not be allergic to.
They are the best in the world
I love the staff, they make you feel so comfortable. They keep a smile on your face all the time.
Terrible service. Practice too busy for appointments. Doctor was sarcastic always during treatments. Cant get services soon enough to control problems. Phone hasnt been updated in over a year. So info on here incorrect. I would consider a smaller practice with more care. This place would not be a good choice for severe arthritis symptoms. Also plan 3 hrs for appointments. Up to 2 hrs wait with appointments.
Dr. Jonus is AMAZING! I have been seeing her for 7 years and she spends a good amount of time with you and cares about your individual concerns. However, the office is poorly run. The front desk staff s rude and condescending. This has always been an issue at this office. I would have hoped it would have improved over the last 7 years but unfortunately it has not. I always have to wait over an hour to see the doctor but that's is not even a concern for me because the doctor is so good. However, getting a phone call through to the doctor, a prescription refilled, or even trying to schedule your follow-up appointment is quite difficult or seems to be a huge bother to the office staff. Dr. Jonus is excellent but shame on you UNC for allowing the office to be so poorly managed.
Love this office!! First of all: DELORES. She is amazing! I called her with a genuine crisis, and boy, did she take care of me. I know that it can be hard sometimes to get into UNC (generally speaking) for an appointment, but when I was truly desperate for an allergy appointment, Delores understood the crisis and got me in to be seen quickly. She was absolutely wonderful. Then, I saw a Fellow by the name of Jamie Waldron. She was fantastic! Smart, polite, engaging - AND she took the time to patiently explain my issues and how to address them. I was very impressed. Finally, I saw the Attending physician, Mildred Kwan. She was just great. Again, she was pleasant, intelligent, and NOT condescending. I love that SO MUCH in a doctor, and it is rare. Everyone's experience is unique, so I certainly don't want to belittle anyone else's opinion, but I can say emphatically that I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this facility - from check-in to check-out - and they are my new allergists of choice! THANK YOU ALL!
I just love the fact that the doctor takes the time to make sure that I'm very comfortable. And she's a very caring person.
Just an amazing group of people. They really care and go out of their way to help you.Delores will help you get the soonest appointment to fit your needs and she is always super friendly. Dr. Commins is such a kind and caring man. This is by far the best UNC group I have encountered in the past 10 years that I have been here in NC.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
