I called three times and was never able to speak to anyone. No one answered the phone
Frightening! The dental assistants were warm, friendly and professional. However, Dr. Elda Fisher was brash and condescending. She gave me erroneous medical advice that only heightened my fears of getting oral surgery. All of this was after spending 4 months of back and forth email communications just to get an appointment. Plus, I was forced to pay almost $200 for an additional x-ray because she could not find the x-ray that was sent to her office along with my referral in their new software system.
Horrible customer service. I called for an appointment and they scheduled me for 4 month later. I got 3 notification and confirmed my appointments for 3 times. When I got there at 8:00 am o’clock in the morning after an hour waiting. I was told it was a mistake and there is no dentist available for me and they told me I can at least clean my teeth if I wait until 10am. I am still sitting here and it is 10:37. Horrible service. 😡
I recently had the chance to have some work done by Dr Elda Fisher and her staff. The amount of time and effort and care this facility put into me is above and beyond anything I have ever experienced. I didnt feel like I was bring tended to by doctors, but by my own family. Every single person I met was beyond qualified, kind, and made sure that I was the center of attention while I was there.
I was very impressed with my appointment with Dr. Matthews. While he could have said my issues were severe enough for surgery, he advised in fact, they were not. I really appreciated his honesty. What I'm not AT ALL happy about is the fact that a gentleman working very closely with Dr. Matthews in trying to assist my getting in to see the Dr. as soon as possible, left me with a very bad taste in my mouth. This man (whom I believe to be a scheduler) advised my Primary Care Physician that (I suppose in his mind) could have done more to help myself. I ask you, if you had seen your Primary Care Physician 2x's, her PA 2x's, your regular dentist once, a renowned TMJ Specialist 2x's, your optometrist 2x's, your ophthalmologist 2x's, the UNC TMJ Surgeon, AND another TMJ specialist once in a matter of 16 weeks (that's a total of THIRTEEN appointments). I have to ask, what more could this person have expected me to do? All this in addition to 16 prescriptions - really??? I could help myself a little more? This is extremely unprofessional to say the least not to mention incredibly inaccurate. Why would a person - working in a major facility of such magnitude - lower himself to expressing such a thought to my Primary Care Physician?? Did he think she wouldn't tell me?Dr. Matthews, you need to have a sincere heart to heart with one of your staff members and if you need his name, I'll be happy to oblige.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
