They are still using two bedded rooms. This is about 15 to 20 years behind the times. It increases the risk of hospital acquired infection.

I have had two children admitted into unc.One of them has type one diabetes and had an overall terrible experience at unc.The other was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease recently and once again had a overall terrible experience.The lack in time for doctors to get back to us, nurses not knowing what they are doing.One doctor told me with that my son needed a blood transfusion while, he did not need one at all!I will be switching my insurance no matter what it costs to not come back to this hospital again.

shut down the ER Dept. biggest waste of time, I will never step foot there again, The Dr I saw was a Quack,!! totally arrogant, over payed, over educated idiot

I am Chalie's wife, Kathy, and after a very terrifying event on the freeway , getting off, getting help from some other wonderful people, an ambulance ride for my hubby to UNC emergency. I am so very thankful for everyone that took care of my hubby as well as me . Just a huge thank you to Fay. I was not able to go in, was told to sit in the parking lot. She made sure I was ok also and was able to calm me and reassure me. Thank You Fay!. He was well taken care of, ruled out all but the issue and he was back to me around 12:30 that night. 42 years of marriage continuing.....This happened on 11/11/21. We were traveling home to Colorado. Thank you again and again. Kathy Bobb
