My loved ones belongings were stolen nothing was done about it. If you try to send anything other than an envelope they send it back.. a month later. They never return calls no matter how many voicemails you leave. If theres an emergency theres no way of getting ahold of them. For a place thats been around as long as they have youd think theyd have better control of things. Highly disappointed in the staff.

My daughter had her belongings stolen and nothing was done to get them back. No investigation and there wasnt a search conducted to even see if the roommates had them. We are from out of state and my daughter is an alcoholic never had problems using drugs but for some reason her urine came back with Suboxone in it??? They immediately had her pack her belongings and put her out. She was walked to the gate they opened it and escorted her then locked it. She had to sit at a gas station for 5 hours before anyone from Virginia could drive there to pick her up. This place I done expect for my review to stay up long but this experience for my daughter was a trigger and she began drinking again Please do your homework before going to a place find out where most of the women are referred from and if the staff is licensed in mental healthcare or addiction. It will save you from what we had to experience. Good luck

Doves Nest is a blessing for me. I was in terrible shape homeless and scared. But being here has helped me out in more ways than one. I absolutely have had good days and bad. But that is all part of my trials and tribulations. God bless Doves Nest.

This place was a God send to my daughter. The counselors are amazing and so good with the girls. From the classes to the meetings to Sunday services it is all God oriented and reiterates Gods love and plan for each life. The girls are so supportive of each other. Very structured days If I could win a lottery I would donate the money to the Doves Nest.

I have tried approximately Six different times to make a donation. God led me to donate to this program almost a year ago. I have brought clothes to the gate and they advised that I needed to make an appointment. Twice I left the items at the bus stop bench. I had a few items in my trunk and my coworkers decided to donate too. My car was loaded from the front seat back seat and I had to go pick up my children from school. I advised them that I needed to give them the items because I needed room in my car for my children to sit. The person that makes the appointments never returns her phone calls. Today I am trying to call to see if they have a gaming system as I have a lot of games controllers and tablets. I thought the women that attended were allowed to bring their children. I wanted to find out if there are children there. I was just transferred to a voicemail box that was full. The only reason that I keep coming back to this place is because this is where I thought God led me but the process of giving is very frustrating here.

I went to doves nest and it was an awesome program. Anybody that wants help to go there because it teaches you to seek God and find yourself and its program helps in your recovery. God bless all the staff all the ladies recovering and all the volunteers. God bless you all

My daughter has been in rehab a couple of times before but never anything like Doves Nest in Charlotte. Doves Nest is truly serious about helping these women face their demons and why they started using in the first place . My daughter is still their after almost two months and says they have changed her life and she has found the lord again. It is truly incredible what she shares with me about her daily recovery and how they are teaching her to know the signs of trouble when back out into the real world and also helping her with the guilt associated with being and addict. Thank you wonderful ladies at Doves Nest for accepting my daughter into your amazing program. God Bless you all for a fresh start for my daughter I have missed for so very long. Note to anyone wanting a loved one in this or any program they have to hit rock bottom and this has to be their decision before it works. Period..

My daughter has been there two months. The change in her is unbelievable. I have prayed for the past few years I would get my daughter back. It would not and could not have happened without the fantastic counselors and staff there at Doves Nest.. She got saved last week at their church service. She loves it there and I love hearing her talk enthusiastically about how much shes changing and finding her way again. Shes getting stronger and stronger every day. They have rules and boundaries and you must abide by them. Something she hasnt done in quite a few years..abide and live among the boundaries and rules. She has 3 more months to go before her program ends. She has made some friendships there that I know will last a lifetime. I am so grateful to this establishment for finding my daughter and getting her back to me. Sheila

I was a resident of the Doves Nest in Charlotte NC from May 14 2018 and I graduated the core program on September 19 2018. Im so glad I decided to attend this program. I was referred to the program by DSS. I did not want anything to do with it when I first heard of it but I decided to suck it up and go. Im soo so glad I did because it was an incredible experience. The staff was amazing. It is alot of work that is required if you but its not hard work at all its pretty easy for anyone to do. The facility is AWESOME and so clean. You are expected to do chores and work in the kitchen throughout your stay but its not bad at all. I also met some great people there because its a good sense of community there. If you are needing help with addiction to drugs andor alcohol this is a great place to be. I realize that 4 12 months seems like a long time to some but it goes by fast. I give this facility and program 5 🌟s. Incredible Experience

Horrible The place is as good as any I did not find it making any difference in our stepdaughters life. She somehow managed to get acceptance there directly from being released from prison. The time in the program there was just an interim to her boyfriend being released from prison so she could continue her drug abuse with him. She has had subsequent prison stays related to her lifelong drug abuse. If anything she found new friends there that she could abuse drugs with.
