I used to see Dr. O'Connell up at UNC and when he changed location and went to Charlotte I followed him there. He is an outstanding ENT doctor I would not go to any other doctor but him. He has been my ENT since 2018 when my local ENT doctor referred me to him to get my problem with my ears under control.

So let me start by saying I left this visit feeling confused. Dr O'Connell seemed rushed and dismissive in our appt. He flat out told me my balance/ vertigo could not be caused by the ear infection I have. He stated ear infection don't cause that. He rushed me out the door and then as an after thought turn in the door way to preform a test with a tuning fork. He showed no concern about how I felt, when asked questions he gave middle of the road responses that could be taken however you interpreted it. He told me to not put cotton in my ear then said I could put cotton in my ear. I'm just so confused by this appointment, all I know is I have an infection, which I knew before the visit. All I can say is if you choose to see him, good luck and I hope it goes better for you then it did me!

Dr. O'Connell is such a wonderful Doctor. He is patient and understanding. He took time to talk to my husband and I about the issues I've been having and he was very concerned and laid out a great plan and gave us lots of resources and direction to help me on the path of getting rid of these migraines. I am so thankful for his kind and caring manner. Thank you so much Dr. O'Connell, office and staff. Everyone there was super nice and pleasant. I felt so comfortable from the start. I can't tell you how much this means to my husband and I.

Dr. Brendan O'Connell is the nicest individual and cares about his patients well-being. The staff are very courteous and the people at the front desk when you call in they are very friendly and courteous as well. Will definitely recommend him to other people.
