Every single doctor and nurse was above anything I could of thought. Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff.

I was there for 5 hours i dint see a doctor. Im from nj firt hospital i go too and I will never go back.

Caring, Compassionate and Competent are what comes to mind about my dads care in this hospital recently. Dad was assigned to this facility to recover from an acute infection in his lower back. The Rehab programs were outstanding as were the nurses, the meals etc. The rooms, though on smaller side are well equipped with chairs for visitors and our room had a window with a decent view. The one complaint my dad had was reported and promptly dealt with with a follow up review from an administrator.Dad has transferred from this facility to another to continue his care.Thank you all for a positive stay.

NEVER AGAIN. I was in the waiting room for 5 1/2 HOURS as approximately 5 people that were checked in after me went before me. I waited another hour for the Doctor or Physician’s Assistant to come into the room. The actual visit with the dr/pa was so unprofessional and rushed. They didn’t even check my vitals once I got into the room.

My father was very sick from covid and was admitted to Atrium cabarrus 1/2/2021. He rapidly deteriorated and was placed on a ventilator 1/6. His prognosis was not good. When he got moved from the covid unit to OVU at cabarrus I was contacted by Lisa Newsom from LTACH about the possibility of my father qualifying as a patient. He eventually did and once he was transferred there I was given a lot of support concerning his care and I remember Lisa Mathis telling me "we got this". I was still scheptical considering how sick my dad was. Well, they got it, weened him off the ventilator and soon he went to rehab and then home on 4/20/2021. Today he is celebrating his 70th birthday. Something I did not think would happen. I give the guys and girls at LTACH a lot of credit and thank them so much for me still having my dad here to celebrate his birthday!!!! Special thanks to Lisa Newsome who went put of her way to get my dad to LTACH and Lisa Mathis who was so wonderful to my dad and family. Where do I start! My husband was there 5 months, he had severe bed sores from not being repositioned which they blamed on him( a quadriplegic) a few of the nurses and cna were helpful but some were downright disrespectful! They were not able to wean him off the machine and only kept him off the vent for a few minutes( he stayed off 1 hour at home) The room was always dirty and supplies were everywhere. They let a lot of things happen.

Very clean and accommodating hospital. The staff was kind and courteous and very helpful pointing me in the right direction!

Amazing Dr.’s, nurses, respiratory therapists, CNA’s, physical, occupational and speech therapists as well.

Wonderful staff and place to work! The providers take time with each patient and have great bedside manner. Highly recommend for patients and families requiring a long term acute care hospital.

Carolinas Continue Care Hosp at University has a special place in my heart,Drs, Nurses, Respiratory Therapist, Recruiters and other disciplinary teams they are put thru tough challenges and are dealing with sick patients. All the workers at this place needs recognition of gold star, I wouldn't want anyone else taking care of me and my family, unless it's these great group of professionals. Keep it up everyone.
