He was very caring and gentle with her and we had a list of questions we brought with us but didn’t have to ask any because he answered them all. He was very informative. Terrible experience with dr. Mathys. My mother had an appointment and we just felt super rushed and as if we were being pushed out the door. Felt like our concerns didnt matter. we didnt leave with any clear answers.

"New patient....doctor was nice enough.....little time spent....felt very "factory like".....check a box....I have seen her. I was looking for a doctor close to home.....he isn't it. Felt more interest from doctors at the Target locations I have been to prior. I won't be back."

When I moved to the area a year ago, I knew I needed bilateral cataract surgery. Due to an eye injury as a child, I was extremely nervous and hesitant . I saw another ophthalmologist who said I was at high risk for potential bad outcomes. He refused to do my surgery and sent me to Dr. Mathys. Thank God he did. When I had my consult with Dr. Mathys, he disagreed with the previous opinion and said I was going to be a simple case and he had no concerns. I loved his confidence and that helped me move forward. I had both eyes done and have 20/20 vision. He is a very skilled and competent eye surgeon and I will thank him forever for my gift of vision.

Dr. Mathys has been my eye doctor for over ten years. I have annual visits for routine exams, not for major issues yet. But I have full confidence that he can manage any eye issues that arise. The overall patient experience has improved greatly since he started at CEENT, and I am glad that I followed him there
