Awful awful awful! Friendly staff but awful work flow. I can’t call to schedule an appt so I went into their office to speak with someone. A nice person gladly scheduled me in for a routine eye exam. Appt day: I arrived early and checked in. 30 mins later I am still waiting. I ask the front desk how much longer and no one can give me an answer other than, “we’ve had several work ins and we are short staffed”. What’s the point of scheduling appts if you can’t keep them!? I get it. But, everyone is short staffed and everyone is dealing with COVID. Please don’t overbook yourself to the point that your staff is stressed and your patients are not seen on time. Will not return. Would leave zero stars if I could.

I recently got lasik with Dr. Blotnick and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Prior to my procedure, I could not even see a foot in front of me….literally. I grew incredibly tired of wearing contacts, misplacing my glasses, forgetting to order more lenses, and finally having the irritation of putting an unnatural object in my eye. I have been seeing Dr. Blotnick since I was about 8 years old, over the years I have noticed his incredible attention to detail, and the value he places on the patient experience. He always remembers you and is very friendly. Both Dr. Blotnick and his staff made my procedure easy. They answered all/any questions I had. The procedure was quick and painless and I am so grateful to have now vision even better than perfect. If you are having any thoughts or doubts about having the procedure, I urge you to do it. I now no longer have to worry about bringing opticals with me to see. Even better in the instance of an emergency, one less thing I can forget. I can wake up, jump out of bed, even grab my phone and not have to worry about accidentally falling asleep in my contacts.

Receptionist was more than rude, and condescending. I immediately hung up and called another ophthalmologist. I will never visit a doctor with rude and uncaring staff.

Dr. Blotnick is an excellent surgeon who really cares about his patients. I'm really glad I decided to go with him. Not only he has more than 2 decades of experience, he has a great bedside manner. I could not be happier with my Lasik results. It was certainly one of the best decisions I ever made in my life.

My wife was referred to Dr. Blotnick for her cataract surgery. She was pleased and I started tune him for routine exams. When I needed cataract surgery there was no question. I was very pleased with all aspect of the procedures. I am now 20/20 two years out. I am very confident and comfortable with Dr. Blotnick. He answers all my questions. Very pleased with the whole practice. Kim is extremely pleasant and professional.

Very bad they did my strabismus surgery and pulled my muscle back way to much and made my eyes worse

Dr. Blotnick did my lasik procedure in July 2018. I now have 20/15 vision. Highly recommend. Staff also was amazing. Highly recommend all the Metrolina Eye Associates branches in the Charlotte area.

My experience with this practice has been stellar. After surgery for a detached retina in one eye and cataract surgery for both eyes, my vision astounds me. 20/20 for someone who has worn glasses since elementary school! Dr. Blotnick used laser surgery to put in multi focal lenses and there was never any pain, there were no stitches and healing was an uncomplicated process. There is great value in having surgery, especially on your eyes!, with someone you trust completely.

Dr. Blotnik is awesome!! He encourages you to ask any questions you have and is patient and caring. I am SO glad I chose him for my Lasik eye surgery. I felt like I was in trusted, good hands before, during and after my surgery!

Very clean place to go and everyone is so friendly. Dr. Blotnick was easy to talk to. He did my husband's surgery it went well. He could see better the next day from the first eye. Then 2 weeks later did second eye it also went well. Since his check-up he has 20/20 vision and only needs reading glasses! We would recommend to friends and family.
