Overall it was ok. I was promised a lot of things over the phone that were untrue once I arrived! Some things that are offered are over glorified and some are out right lies!!I assume that the “recruiter” the person on the phone I spoke with must get some kickback for each person they get to come. They said this is untrue so why all the deception? The staff at housing and the group facilitators did a good job. There were a few that I felt lacked experience but overall it was good. Unfortunately I would not recommend this place to anyone who does not have a strong will for recovery to come because you have to be able to come in with the attitude to be able to take what you need and ignore preconceived expectations on what was promised.
Patty was the worse. I was sent there back in June after I was ripped off my benzo in a matter of five days. I told her I was supposed to go back on and taper slowly and she said they’ve only done that for one patient. Fast forward 9 months later and I’ve only slept 30 min per night since and going through severe withdrawals, my vision is shot, memory is gone, lost my job, I’m danger of losing my son, because I can’t care for him or me. Freedom and Harmony don’t even specialize in benzo or helping people wean off. Now playing my brain is permanently damaged for life.
I am grateful for the time my son spent in Harmony’s IOP program. He seemed to get a lot out of the groups, especially the evening hours with LOU! She really won my son over with her warm smile and hilarious sense of humor! We had come in one morning not knowing what to expect, and not only was the Harmony staff friendly and helpful, but the residents themselves stopped to greet us and make sure we got our needs met. You could tell right away that they were like a family! HILLARY is a phenomenal therapist who puts her all into her job to help addicts. As a mom of an addict, the only thing stronger than the frustration I felt, was my fear!! So it was a welcome relief to be able to work with Harmony Recovery— they took my son under their wing and taught me the importance of taking care of myself too. They were a true blessing for our family !
This is the worst place to go for your mental health ever! First, Ross in admissions is an absolute liar. He will tell you anything to get you to Harmony. i was blatantly lied to about the types of therapy i would receive. You’re lucky if you even get therapy once a week. Then you get blindsided with a $400 housing fee to stay in a house infested with roaches and mice!! The groups are lacking in substance and most of the therapists seem like they have no idea what they’re doing. People with medical concerns have to wait for over a week to If you actually want to get better, don’t go to Harmony.
Coming back to comment again as Sara N. "Business owner" keeps commenting trying to convince you that this place tries to "help" people. So with that being said, the first day I was here at Harmony I knew something was wrong with these people. They still to this day have my 50 dollars they took from my mother by the way. The first red flag was how mean the workers were (the workers are over worked and treated like garbage so I understand) I had all my stuff taken from me and was told I couldn't have anything back until I completed 30 days. I was only there 3 days and each day felt like an eternity. The only fun we had was getting to go to the stupid park across the road. If you go here you will be in a room for about 9 hours hearing people tell you about god and how drugs are bad. No "everyday" or even weekly therapy with a therapist like they say. Also I talked to many people there (whom had been there for 2 to 3 weeks) said they were in nasty roach filled places and even said they didn't get any of their medication they were prescribed which I can agree because I was prescribed subutex because suboxone (which I'm allergic to and makes me sleepy) they told me I can't take the subutex and made me take suboxone. I felt like I was dying. The ONLY good thing about this place is trauma bonding with your peers and nice staff. I tried to leave the property almost 30 times!!!! And they kept making me walk back trying to keep me there and they managers to make me stay a whole day by walking me back and forth lying to me telling me I'll be able to go home and they'll take me home if I just finish the day. No. Once I was finally able to leave they take u to the nearest hospital and leave u there. It also sucked they stole my money. They barely even wanted to give me my ID back!! Please. If you love your family never go here. I can tell more about my stay on another comment if this "business owner" keeps commenting on others reviews trying to act like they are so professional when they are just out to get your money and traumatize your families. I will forever stand up for anyone who has been here because I know what it feels like to lose someone from addiction. My brother passed and if he ever had to go here I'd be so upset because this isn't a place that helps you at all. Just remember if you go here they will call your family and ask for money acting as if you need it. Hey "harmony" let me know when you want to give me my money back by the way.

First, let me begin by saying, I am so thankful that I have six (6) months sobriety. Harmony Recovery has saved my life, beginning with PHP, IOP and Sober Living. I received tremendous knowledge during group sessions and yes, there are many people that do not want to be at Harmony. They can and will do anything to disrupt class. The one thing I had to do for myself was, taking everything that applied to me from groups, leave the other bull____ behind and pray for those that are still struggling. The staff, drivers and techs are ready to help you, in whatever way they can. The medical staff, Dr. Jill, Misha PA, Nurse Patty and the newest to the medical staff, Daja take their positions very seriously. Erin, the director of operations and Will, the owner, both, are very approachable and willing to listen to you and will do whatever they possibly can to accommodate you. Stephanie, case manager, I declare she knew what I needed and when I needed to speak with her, before I knew it. Need something done contact Stephanie. Kristen, my therapist, awesome!! She listened to me and made me see things in a different light. She is definitely one of the best therapist I have had counseling with. Other staff members I had the pleasure of dealing with, Vern, Kim, Jade, Leo, Keller, Jules, Ritchie, Peggy, please forgive me because I am sure I left someone out. The bottom of it all is if you truly desire to be free from an addiction Harmony Recovery Center is the place for you.
Do not go here. They gave me a 2 day notice to find another place to live out of IOP and was 160 days strong of sobriety. Relapsed the day after I moved out because a alcoholic in recovery doesn’t mean anything to them but the money
I absolutely loved my time at harmony , everyone- the entire staff and Will the owner were incredible people. The therapists , the drivers , the clinical staff , case management, everyone was so pleasant and sweet and I met some really amazing people along the way. I'm gonna miss these guys so much it was hard to leave them but it was time for the next chapter on my road to recovery. The housing was great, the house itself was a peaceful place and very clean. Just wanted to give these guys a shout out and anyone that is struggling with mental health or sobriety , can find what they are looking for here.
I received multiple cold calls from Ross in FL along with unrealistic promises about plane tickets being paid for, doctors and nurses on site 24/7, etc. This made my transition into recovery more difficult. Although this is true, after the adjustment phase I begun working with the crew at the center in NC where there are doctors and nurses along with amazing techs and other staff. The hard transition made by these unrealistic expectations set became worth it after meeting all of the staff in NC. The staff here are true patient advocates who keep your goals in mind when creating your treatment plan. Overall 3/5 stars were given due to the unrealistic expectations, time management issues, and follow through with some client requests. These are all things that can be worked on. My happiness has changed tremendously from my experience here! (Ref. PHOTO)

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
