List of Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region's Reviews
We were family centric in our ability to aid but Hospice services helped keep us moving forward and helping a family member through their last months. We even had to trigger a respite option when family care had instability. The care support and coordination they helped us through from management nurses to social workers were invaluable. Thank you for everything.
My girlfriend had a great uncle in this place and their family has told me nothing but horror stories about the staff. They say that nurses there spend more time on their smart phones that they do actually caring for patients. The great uncle said every time he went to ask a nurse for something they had their nose in their phone usually on social media. Family members said the same thing. And the nurses would get annoyed that they had been interrupted. The management here really needs to do something perhaps even ban staff from having phones while on duty.
My wife had secondtime cancer and doctors gave her two years at best. She chose hospice instead of treatment since with and without treatment the yearstolive is the same. The nurses of Hospice and Palliative care did a great job gave her excellent care and did everything to keep her off pain. The nurses developed great friendship with my wife. She lived 19 months as opposed the doctors predicted twoyearsatbest. Hospice and Palliative Care is a great organization with a great group of dedicated nurses.
My family was hesitant to request hospice for my Dad. We just didn’t know what to expect. Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region was nothing short of amazing. His primary nurse Brittany checked in with us almost daily if I had a question about anything all I had to do was call and someone always called back immediately and if something unexpected arose they were here to tend to him. They also showed great concern for us his family. I will never be able to thank you enough for making the hardest time in our lives a little easier to bear. Thank you for allowing me to honor my Dads wishes of passing at home. Without ALL of you we wouldn’t have been able to do that. I am a hospice advocate for life. Thank you for all that you do. You’re all amazing
I cannot speak to the level of care at this facility but I did inquire about my fathers options regarding potentially being admitted here and spoke with Tracy Mccosh. She was totally amazing taking time to let me know my options regarding my dad. She took the time to listen to my brother and my situation and was able to guide me to the best possible scenario. All I can say is thank you for your time your patience your empathy you are truly an employee that does not come along very often. If she is emblematic of what your facility has to offer I hope to be able to have my father there.
We have a family member here and at first the care was very poor. Our family member complained constantly to us about one nurse who spent more time on social media on her phone than anything else. We did not complain though our family member was afraid of retaliation. Thankfully though management realized there was a problem and removed that nurse. Everything has gotten much better since then all the other seem much happier too. Would definitely recommend.
Would never recommend this organization. Let my mother die in pain while the nurse crystal combs text my family. She would not call she would only text my 64 year old father and when my mother was dying laying in the floor they would not come to our house to help. My mom was a nurse for years and an educator. I am a doctor myself and this company was awful. There is no way I could ever recommend them to care for my loved ones. The company also violated HIPAA by texting medical information and when this was reported to staff supervisors they did not punish their employees or do anything to correct their companies actions. They also left drugs in my house with no explanation to my father how to administer them to my mother or that they were even there for that matter. They should be shut down. My mother lived a wonderful life only to be let down by this company in her last days. Do not trust them. I wish I would not have used them and I should sue them for the pain they have caused our family.
I have been a resident in the Lake Norman area for 20 years and have had experience with several hospice organizations in the area. I felt so confident with the care of the company that I relocated my dying grandmother from an out of state nursing home to the Levine and Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville to live her last 6 days of life. They offered the best most dignified care to both my grandmother and my family. I would recommend Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region to EVERYONE
HPCCR is an invaluable resource to our Charlotte community. It is amazing to think about how many lives they have touched and the relief they have provided to patients and to caregivers. I highly recommend that you look into their services earlier than you think is necessary and you will be so glad that you did
Terrible experience. I could never in a million years recommend this office

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
