Agree that Dr. Ganem is personable enough (is this the key criterion of a good physician???), but the group and its practices are SO BAD that it overrides the efforts an otherwise-acceptable physician. My experience is that Urology Specialists of the Carolinas has an overriding mindset of "our TOP priority is to make money." That drives EVERYTHING (read the reviews of the practice and how they don't answer patients if they can't charge for answering a question!).

Dr Ganem: a superb clinician, highly skilled surgeon; listens very well, is personable, shows empathy & never makes one feel rushed. All procedures done with minimal discomfort to patient. The office is well run with prompt replies.

Dr Ganem was excellent for me. I was going in not sure of how the procedure would be performed but not only did he educate me on the different techniques of how vasectomies are performed, but he also informed me on how he and his staff would perform my vasectomy. He also put me at ease during the procedure with his lighthearted sense of humor and at the same time being very professional.
