As a new resident to SC and in need of a Urology specialist, I couldn't be more pleased to have chosen Dr. Kirland as my attending urologist. He is a confluence of competency and charm that makes for a pleasant and productive visit.

I was referred to Dr. Kirkland for a recurrent urinary tract infection. As a female, I cannot recommend this doctor to any female patients. He had little to no knowledge about the differences in the female anatomy or our unique genitourinary needs. It appears another female patient left a negative review about feeling belittled by this doctor. I second that experience. I actually cried in the parking lot after seeing Dr. Kirkland - that is how poorly I was treated. His young nurse appeared nice at first, but after a follow-up phone call from her where she cut me off mid-sentence and huffed with irritation while I was explaining my ongoing symptoms, I decided I would never return to this doctor or practice again. I am finally doing better having received much more thorough and quality care elsewhere. I caution female patients to avoid this doctor altogether. Dr. Kirkland is as demeaning, callous and judgmental as they come. 100% honest review from a *real* patient.

Excellent urologist . Has been my urologist for few years now. Even had to have a kidney removed last year. He is my husbands dr also. He is always there for us when needed an takes time with us. An explains everything so we understand I highly recommend Dr Kirkland An his staff.
