This was my first time visit. My husband highly recommended Dr. Gaul since he had been treated by him in the past. He went over options on how to help alleviate my thumb pain due to bone spurs and lack of cartilage. He was very thorough, understanding and kind. I went with a cortisone shot and I can already feel the difference. I highly recommend Dr. Gaul and so thankful for him.

Dr Gaul always answers my questions & explains my issues to me! He treated me for arthritis in my thumb and carpal tunnel in right wrist- the surgery went well! He is now treating me for carpal tunnel in my left wrist! I have full confidence in him!

I am new to the Charlotte area and found myself having an elbow issued. I was able to get an appointment at OrthoCarolina and was seen by Dr.Gaul. He was very professional and personable. After taking xrays, he explained my condition, and walked me through my treatment options. He was very understanding and took time to learn about me. It was a good experience not only with Dr. Gaul but the support staff (front desk, nurse and appointment desk)

Dr Gaul has been serving me for more than a decade. He reconstructed my elbow, forearm, hand and wrist following a major auto accident. I had complete confidence in his ability because of his reputation, his through explanation of my injuries, detailed prognosis and surgery and rehab plan. Thanks to Dr Gaul I regained functionality of my joints and limbs. Now I’m back with him for another injury and I know I’m in great hands
