Instead of removing a bladder stone seen on an initial uroscopy exam, Dr Makhuli convinced my husband to undergo a Rezume procedure. This procedure is contraindicated for presence of a bladder stone. During the initial uroscopy, I saw a large stone on the screen and asked Dr Makhuli if he could remove it He replied that it would spontaneously leave the bladder when the scope is withdrawn. This did not happen. After the Rezume, my husband ended up in the ER with the same symptoms as before the Rezume. That same stone was seen and suspected to be the cause of his pain, incontinence and blood-tinged urine. When I called the office to schedule removal of the stone, I was given an appointment 2 months out for my husband to be re-evaluated by Dr. Makhuli. We decided to see a different doctor/practice and the 12mm stone was removed 2 days later.

2 years Patient. 5 appointments (3 visits, 2 distance). 2 Doctor No-Shows (Online x2), 1 Cancelled Office-appointment on Dr. Request. Office visits are generally conducted by interns and Dr. Makhuli would come for 5' at the end. Very nice facilities, probably good diagnostic skills but really makes me feel like a number and painfully unreliable when it comes to scheduling. Will most probably be on the look-out for a better fit very soon.

You will not go wrong picking Mark Makhuli MD as your doctor, he will take time to make sure you understand everything that may be going on. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable as well. Great Practice!

An excellent doctor, he is so kind and will take all the time you need to get your questions answered. Very understanding when it came to my cancer. I can't imagine anyone else I'd want to deal with. Very professional doctor and office staff. Professional nurses and friendly too! Everyone strives to make you feel at ease. I highly recommend this doctor and the practice!!

I want to commend Dr. Makhuli on a job well done. He performed an emergency surgery on myself and it was successful. I thank God that he was available when called upon. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Makhuli.

I have been so thankful for Dr. Makhuli being my daughters doctor. He has been very helpful in finding any problems she was having & what really touches my heart is his concern for her when she was having a hard time after surgery. He was there immediatley to help us & I could see the concern for her in his eyes. So thankful that he was the doctor at the hospital when she had to go in.
