List of MIndpath Care Centers's Reviews
Dr. Stratton is the best and has always been very helpful and supportive for years! He really cares about my wellbeing and makes sure my family and I are taken care of!
Hopeful I don't have to deal with it again but the review stands. I had to wait way over 24-48 hours and all I got on here was a 'send us a message' - which I did. I wrote about it. I sent several messages through the portal, sent emails, and called. It took calling the billing department a few times to get through to the front office. The many times I called directly- I got told to leave a voice message (did on multiple days) and hung up on (once) when transferred without any elaboration. I don't know what's going on but I hope it was a fluke.
I have been waiting 5 days for my medicine to be refilled. 2nd day I've gone out of the way to pick up a prescription that WAS NEVER SENT IN! I've spoken with them on the phone 3 times to try and get this fixed. They say they're fixing these issues but their patients mental health is CLEARLY not a PRIORITY! At this point I'm hysterical because there's no path to better health or a better mind if Mindpath is unable to be consistent with making sure their patients medicines are available to them upon refill. Please do better!
Let me first state that I love Dr. Goshwani, she's amazing. This review and star rating is about my experience with Tammy on 9/20/23, the lady who answered the phone when I was trying to reach out to Dr. Goshwani. I don't have the option on MindPath's portal to send a secure message to my doctor, so I had to call 980-326-3277. The first time I called at 1:02p on 9/20/23, the auto response kept saying I was number 1 in the queue, but no one answered and I was waiting for 3 minutes with no answer; I figured it was lunchtime, so I hung up and did some googling to see if I could message my doctor. I found out I couldn't, so I called back, as the number previously stated was what's listed for Dr. Goshwani on the MPH website. Well this time, Tammy answered, and I explained to her that I was recently laid off, so I didn't have insurance; Dr. Goshwni was aware, because we had talked about it in a previous session and she told me not to worry about my prescriptions, she'd make sure I got them, but we never discussed what that process was. Tammy then asked me which medications I wanted a prescription refill for, so I reiterated what I explained to her. She then stated that she thought Dr. Goshwani would suggest that I try to use GoodRx or maybe the Durham office would have samples. I asked her if she could reach out to Dr. Goshwani to find out HER answer, and Tammy said she would send Dr. G a message and reach back out to me when she gets a response. I don't know if my issue was too complicated for her (not trying to be mean, just being honest), or if she wasn't sure how to handle my issue, but she was very rude and her tone was extremely uninterested, as if I was bothering her. I would think if you're working for a facility that deals with psychiatry, therapy, and mental health issues, you'd have a little more of a sympathetic tone when speaking with patients, especially when I just told you I was laid off and concerned with how to get my medication. I've only had to call the office once before prior to Dr. Goshwani moving to the Charlotte office, for a prescription situation, and my experience with the lady who answered the phone was the total opposite. She was kind, polite and concerned. Again to reiterate, Dr. Goshwani is AMAZING and I pray that I'm able to find employment soon so I can see her again, because I had to cancel our upcoming appointment due to no insurance.
I have been endlessly frustrated in dealing with Mindpath health for several months. I've had eight different appointments with the same provider. Every time they were between a half hour to an hour late. No explanation. No follow-up. Barely a sorry attitude. When I first started seeing them, I set up automatic payments and never had an issue. I stopped trying to get an appointment in November 2022 after my provider refused to see me. Since I never saw a bill after that I thought it was handled. Cut to June 2023 I get a paper bill mailed to me saying I own almost $1000. I'm angry because in addition to not getting help, wasting my time, and having to find a new provider I now have an unexpected bill to pay.
the office staff was non responsive. impossible to get a person on the phone, phone calls are not returned and messages (web portal) go un answered.
I have the best MD and therapist I could had asked for. Dr. Jothy is so kind and compassionate and Melanie really understands. Two of the best people that I feel completely comfortable with.
My doctor is awesome! Smart, supportive, patient, etc. I do the telehealth meetings and everything is good.
My therapist, Taylor, is pretty incredible. Caring, smart, compassionate and has great ideas. Highly recommend this service.
Connecting via telemedicine left me apprehensive in the beginning but I love it. My experience with my psychologist and psychiatrist at mindpath has exceeded my expectations. Thank you

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
