List of Oscar Brann's Reviews
Two visits for Colonoscopies. Both visits resulted in good information and beneficial recommendations. I will continue to see Dr. Brann even though I have moved from the area.
Dr.Brann is awesome. I have had 2 colonoscopies done with him and both times have been great experiences. He is personable, friendly and answered all my questions. I highly recommend him.
Very nice doctor with obvious skills
I do not recommend this doctor to anyone. He is not friendly or caring. His nursing and office staff are no better either. Terrible experience all the way around.
I rarely write reviews but I was compelled to write this one. To start with I have been diagnosed with chronic liver disease this past year by Dr. Brann. If it were not for Dr. Justin Miller, Andrew Dries and Dr. Brann I might be alive today to write this. He is very professional, knowledgeable and caring. Since being diagnosed he has kept me abreast of my conditions with periodic test and lab workups in hopes of keeping my condition as stable possible. I don't know what lies ahead but I feel that I am in very good hands. Thanks again for everything but mainly saving my life!
After many tests and a few appointments he re-diagnosed me with the IBS that I've already had for 30 years. I knew this wasn't IBS and told him. This was different and debilitating. When I could get out of bed I would sit at my desk and vomit while in nauseous misery. Years later I went to another Gastroenterologist with the same symptoms who immediately diagnosed me with Gastroparesis. CLASSIC symptoms. A life changing diagnosis. I want those years back Dr. Brann. YOU cost me so much....
After many tests and a few appointments he re-diagnosed me with the IBS that I've already had for 30 years. I knew this wasn't IBS and told him. This was different and debilitating. I would sit at my desk and vomit daily while in nauseous misery, and have horrible attacks. He wasn't willing to look any farther and I suffered immensely for many years. His wrong diagnosis also came with no treatment. So, several years later I went to another Gastroenterologist who almost immediately diagnosed me with Gastroparesis. Same symptoms exactly as with Dr. Brann. I had CLASSIC Gastroparesis symptoms....I just don't understand how he could have missed this. I didn't just have one appointment with him, he had so many opportunities. He was condescending and wrote it all off as IBS due to stress and depression. Dr. Brann, I understand that doctors are not perfect and make mistakes, but in this circumstance it was inexcusable and debilitating. It affected my life negatively in so many ways that I cannot begin to share them all.
I ended up in tears after what was supposed to be a productive and helpful appointment and procedure because of how this man spoke to me. He corrected me on my own symptoms, spoke to me as though I had no idea what was going on with my own body, and made me feel as though the fact that I have been in pain for months was laughable. He did not provide me with clear direction of what to do next regarding appointments and tests and told me to just "wait and see and follow up in two weeks"
He cured my Hep C
Dr. Brann is extremely rude and condescending. I would not recommend him as a physician to anyone who expects a doctor to treat them as a person. I would not go back to this doctor for any reason. I would rather suffer and wait for an appointment with a different physician, preferably at a different practice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
