My friend is in severe pain and was referred by her GI provider to this practice. They will not make timely appointments because they have to "review" the referral. What exactly are they reviewing? Also was told that it could take 14 days for someone to call her back to make an appointment. She is hurting all day, every day. She has to wait up to 14 days? This isn't how a medical practice should be operated. Seems like patient's health and comfort are not a priority.

Dr. Colavita is a top notch surgeon who genuinely cares for his patients. He is highly knowledgeable in his field of gastrointestinal specialty. If you are having issues in the gastrointestinal area, you want to see Dr. Paul D. Colavita for sure. He helped me by performing a P.O.E.M surgical procedure which changed my quality of life for the better. He was and is a Godsend. Thank you Dr. Colavita. I've seen Dr. Colovita several times and have had several surgeries by him. He is the kindest doctor I've ever dealt with and I have a lot of doctors. Great bedside manner! Very personable! Takes his time and sits down and listens. Explains everything with drawing diagrams. Just very pleasant to deal with all around. If there were a 10-star rating he would get it. I would trust his knowledge and expertise with any family member, any day!

Dr. Colavita is one of the best doctors/surgeons I have had the pleasure using. He listens, he asks questions, he has concern for your problem. The greatest bedside manner. He treated me exceptionally well before, during and after my surgery. I highly recommend him.
