List of Peter Waters's Reviews
Dr. Waters is an expert in his field. He has been nothing short of amazing for our sons very rare case. He is kind, polite, and extremely talented. His communication with us as parents and the medical staff involved on our son’s team has been fantastic. We drove 7 hours to see him, and it was definitely the right decision.
Very knowledgeable! Goes the extra mile for his patients!
We are so excited about the service that we have received. We look forward to receive likely or much more better service. This is our feeling and our feedback for now.
Dr. Waters was great. Very polite and insightful. He really made us feel comfortable and you can tell he loves coming to work everyday. Great staff overall.
i had surgery with dr waters in october 2019 after 2 years of wrist pain. about 6 months after surgery i had the pain again. when i went for an office visit with him, my hand was casted and an mri was scheduled. the mri was in june of 2020 and It took about 3 weeks of constantly calling his nurse/office to ask what they had found wrong with my hand and why I was still in pain. Finally they had told me absolutely nothing had changed, I was completely fine, and there was nothing else they could do for me. I took it upon myself to get a second opinion with my regular ortho who suggested dr waters in the first place. Turns out I have ECU and will need surgery again. I’m extremely disappointed this was written off. And the diagnosis of ecu was in the report therefore there is no way he could’ve missed it. I am now 18 years old (if you saw a doctor at boston children’s before 18 then you can continue going) and can only imagine how this would’ve been if I were a much younger child.
I am a child who has gone through the process of having surgery with Dr.Waters and I feel like i need to tell him that he worked a miracle that no one else could. not only did he give me use of my hand but i got to keep my hand my life has been completely changed by this man and if theirs any doubt to if this man is a sufficient doctor the answer is yes, take it from someone that went through 10 years of 14 operations with him. he is the best doctor i've ever met and i would happily go back under the gun again if he was the one who was operating on me.
My granddaughter was born in 2011 with the inability to bend her elbows (arthrogryposis). We called several specialists who said nothing could be done for her. Then we took her to Boston where Dr. Waters determined that he could help her and that she was a candidate for surgery. Today she can bend her elbows enough to feed herself, comb her hair, brush her teeth and blow her nose. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Waters and the difference he has made in my granddaughter's life.

Dr. Waters is the definition of a "Big Gun" surgeon, basically he is a surgeon's surgeon. When all else fails.. in comes Waters as calm as can be, he has not a bit of self importance. The man is their to fix what is broken. He is very friendly and likable. I would recommend him to anyone who has a serious Orthopedic Injury, He was trained by the best, Dr. John Hall at Children's Hospital and continues to uphold the highest standards of patient care.
Poor bedside manner. After waiting 3 hours past my scheduled appointment time, he only spent about 3 minutes in the room.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
