Mint Hill ER received 74.2% positive feedback, with patients praising the friendly staff, clean facilities, and compassionate care. However, 25.8% of the feedback was negative, primarily citing long wait times, dismissive behavior, and poor communication. Overall, the practice is appreciated for its empathy, yet it needs stronger administrative processes. Ensure summary clarity.ScoreDoc Score

Best care and definitely would recommend.
I sat in the ER in pain, for eight hours without a doctor even speaking to me once. It turns out my fear about a blood clot was real, and they failed to treat me putting me at risk for a stroke or cardiac event. They didn't take my complaint serious, they didn't even bother to get me to an ultrasound until 7 hours after I walked into the hospital after I told them Urgent Care said I had to come to the ED because they thought it was serious and didn't have the equipment to diagnose. Luckily I went to a different doctor and took my healthcare into my own hands, because they sure didn't.If you are fearful you have a real problem and are not actively bleeding out I suggest anywhere else but here. Terrible ability to prioritize, terrible ability to organize, and terrible ability to actually care for patients.Side note, the front desk staff were kind, but unable to push the doctors and nurses into actually doing the job of treating people in distress.
Was scheduled for an MRI for back pain November 9, at 5:15 pm. I arrived at 4:50 was checked in given my medical bracelet etc, told to take a seat in waiting area, I wasn’t there but 5 minutes when the front desk lady came to me and said that the MRI group was running 2 hours behind! I was given the choice to wait or reschedule I said I would reschedule and was handed a post it with a number to call. I decided not to reschedule at this time as my back pain has subsided however when I checked on My Chart they marked my visit as a NO SHOW! I sent my referring Dr a message and they responded to call the Imaging Center. I noticed now the switched it to missed appointment? I hope they don’t intend on billing my insurance for a no show/ missed appointment as I was there. I’m actually on the phone with a representative right now to have this corrected I don’t want this on my record, they should have put patients decision was to reschedule due to long wait. The young lady I’m speaking with said she spoke with them and they can’t change my status? But that my card won’t be billed. I promise I will be keeping a close eye on my insurance statements to be sure. I think they need some sort of system to alert patients that they are running 2 hours late and call them before they arrive so they can wait from home and come later. One note the admission person was very nice.
Great service, staff, and timeframe I was treated within at the ER on a Friday night. Thanks so much!
I wasn't in the ER long. Jessica C. Took such good care of me. My experience was nothing like my other emergency room experiences.
I wish I would have gotten the name of the amazing young lady that helped me with my HIDA scan yesterday. She was amazing. The kindest encounter I have ever had from medical staff. So thankful for her compassion and patience with me yesterday morning as I was extremely emotional.
They are making my husband (27) sit in the waiting room next to patients who clearly have COVID. He asked if he could wait in the car or outside (he is having chest pain) and they told him no! The waiting room is so small so they are less than 3 feet from one another. I dont understand the logic.
I wrote a review below and ironically, got a canned response. My original post today, Mon 10/18/21:Wish I'd looked at the most recent reviews. We just went by there with a heart condition. It's happened a few times over past 20 years at other hospitals and usually we get back ASAP. Not today. Front desk at Novant said might be 3.5 hr wait.So we headed to ER Atrium Health off Albemarle Rd. Got back asap. This may just be a sign of the times due to staffing, Covid or something beyond their control. All I know is we made the decision to go elsewhere due to the circumstances.Good luck.
We brought my son in the ER at 9p.m. on 10/5/21 & still sitting here at 6:30a.m on 10/6/21 and he still hasn't seen the doctor! This is the slowest & most ridiculous ER I've ever seen in my life so I suggest that you find another hospital to go to besides here! Thank God my son wasn't dying or they would've let him sit here & die a long time ago!!!!
This was the best experience I’ve had at hospital. Nurse Moody did an outstanding job of taking care of me and making me feel comfortable. The entire staff was amazing.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
