(labor and delivery area) the nurse i believe her name was roxanne a young woman with glasses was such a amazing nurse she made me feel like a priority i wish i could have kept her as my nurse the whole time!! she’s the best one i’ve had in my stay
My total experience was positive. The hospital was a positive one. The staff is both friendly and kind. Dr. Villeret is simply wonderful. Dr. Lawson is truly beyond compare. I totally recommend both the hospital and the staff.
If you have an emergency, you better not go to this hospital.
I had a very good experience. I was very nervous initially. My doctor and the staff from beginning to end, were very informative and compassionate. My mind was set at ease. Every step of my process was explained to both my husband and I. The nurses, Cnas, techs and doctors were phenomenal. Thank you so Dr. O, Chioma, Jessica, Andrea, Areauanna and everyone who helped me.
My surgeon, Dr Janelle Fauci is incredible. She has a passion for making people feel her dedication and sincerity in every capacity and every step along the way. I received such excellent care for my surgery. My entire medical team was professional, thoughtful, and focused with my needs for the entire process.Thank you to each person for contributing to an overall exceptional experience.
Excellent staff and Dr, felt as if I had a NASCAR team in the OR!
Having the most horrific experience with this hospital. My husband has been here several times only to leave and develop life threatening sepsis twice. Trying to get out now with lengthy red tape holding us up. Very uneasy about the inefficient home health care being ordered. Husband has a drain that needs attention twice a day they are offering maybe once a week. Really a crime how they handle seriously I’ll patients. If ineffective aftercare results in an infection we will hold them responsible as should Medicare.
I am not sure how Novant Health can treat its patients the way I have been treated. I had back surgery by Dr. Back on March 31, 2022 and stayed in the hospital after the surgery until April 3rd, 2022. My insurance changed on March 31st from BPA to Vitori on April 1st. First of all, Dr. Back did not seek approval for my surgery prior to March 31st. I had to tell his office to get the approval some months after my surgery when Novant Health tried to bill me $174,000 for the surgery and hospital stay. BPA refused to pay the $174,000 because Novant Health tried to charge BPA for the entire stay from March 31st to April 3rd. I had to call Novant Health billing to tell them they needed to send the invoice to BPA for the March 31st expenses and then Vitoria for the April 1 to April 3 expenses. So instead they sent the entire bill to Vitori who of course refused to pay. After calling Novant Health several times giving them the phone numbers and the exact details they needed to appropriately bill each insurance company, I then received a call from a billing person who said they would investigate into it to make sure everything was being completed properly. I get a letter back saying that they were doing everything correctly and I owed the full $174,000. Finally, over the past two weeks I get notification from both insurance companies advising me what they were covering and that I would owe $15,000. Then on Friday, July 21st, 2023 I get an email from Novant Health saying that I owed $15,000 and I needed to make payments or this would be sent to a collection agency. What kind of company does this to a person? What kind of health care company would do this? I will be calling them tomorrow and letting them know what kind of health care company they are. I will never go to Novant Health again and I am going to tell as many people as possible what kind of scum they are.
On 7/18/23 my brother was taken to this hospital by ambulance. There was a vital of blood on the floor and my mother told the nurse and she said she was looking for that but did not need it anymore but she did not discard it. After my brother was discharged he was wheeled out in a wheelchair. My mother was at the pharmacy getting his medicine when the nurse called her to ask her did my brother still have his IV in his arm and the electrodes were still on him as well. My mother looked and told her yes, the nurse said she or he could take it out. My mother told her no they were not trained for that so when she got him back to the emergency room she had the nurse come out to remove these items which she was nonchalant and the nurse told her some patients don't want them to remove the electrodes, but the point is most facilities ask you if you want them to remove them or not they do not assume. Then there was a staff person at the desk sleep. This is unacceptable and the same way they send a bill and want you to pay patients want quality care and a clean facility.
From the moment of arrival to Discharge after the procedure, my encounters with NHPMC personnel were wonderful. Thank You.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
