Fantastic doesn't even come close to describing Dr. Hamp. I have been seeing him along with my family for a number of years and have always been pleased with the service. He found something in my retina and referred me out to a specialist. The specialist told me that if Dr. Hamp didn't catch this, it was a matter of time before my eye would be blind.

I had the opportunity to see Dr. Hamp while visiting the Charlotte area and in need of eye care. I found him to be thorough and he took the time to explain how the medicine I take for other medical conditions could effect my eyes long term. He also was very specific in recommending treatment for my dry eyes - not something I had received in the past from other eye care providers. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in the Charlotte area.

Dr Hamp is the best doctor I have ever seen, and that's regardless of type of provider in any medical field! He is the kindest, most caring and knowledgeable doctor I've ever seen. I trust him 100% and I feel lucky to have him as my eye doctor. He always makes me feel that I'm his only patient, and is careful to make sure all my questions are answered. I have recommended him to countless people and they all have thanked me after seeing him! Great doctor, great person!

Dr. Hamp is AMAZING! I have been seeing him for several years now and can honestly say the exams are of the most thorough exams I have ever received. Great technology available at the office (including Optomap retinal scanner). Dr. Hamp is very thorough and he explains everything in detailed layperson's terms and answers all questions without judgment. I have never felt rushed. Several locations to choose from. Office staff and frame selection are also outstanding. Highly recommend!

Dr. Hamp is awesome! He is unique in that he actually listens to his patients regarding financial preferences for low-cost eye contacts and glasses. He is extremely kind and intelligent. It is very evident that he is great at what he does!
