Patient since 2000. Exceptional knowledge!
Dr. Kipnis diagosed me with psoriatic arthritis in less than 15 minutes after I was misdiagnosed with fibromyalgia for 6 years by other doctors and rheumatologists in another state. He seems to have good clinical knowledge in this area compared to other doctors I have seen.
I have been seeing Dr. Kipnis for about 10 years for Psoriatic Arthritis. He is highly knowledgeable regarding the latest information on my problems. I believe that he has balanced the risks and benefits of available treatments to maximize my quality of life.
I have been seeing Dr Kipnis 20+ years. Could not ask for a more understanding Dr and one who works each visit to tx each arising problem. He has worked me in for an early appt for major c/o.
Very caring and knowledgeable!
Dr. Kipnis has been my doctor for the last 5 years since moving to the Carolinas. He is excellent, thorough and understanding. I would definitely recommend him if you need a rheumatologist.
Dr. K came highly recommended once I was diagnosed with RA. He not prepared for appointment even though I kept a meticulous record of symptoms and provided a full history. Has a very western medicine way of dealing with condition. Made me feel bad for asking researched questions. No bedside manner. Recommend seeing a functional medicine doctor and dealing with disease and symptoms more naturally. Zero follow up.
I’ve seen Dr. Kipnis for years. But I’ve had it with his bedside manner. He is extremely arrogant and a terrible listener. He actually scoffed at some of my questions.
Fibromyalgia was assigned to rheumatologists to treat many years ago because it was thought to be some type of "rheumatism." We know better now. Dr. Kipnis does not like people with fibromyalgia because he doesn't know and doesn't want to know how to treat it. It should be treated in a hoslistic setting. Look on the Internet for doctors who truly want to treat FM and know how.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
