Ignore negative reviews. Dr. Peretsman is an extremely knowledgeable, very competent, urologist and has been doing HIFU treatments for years. When I had my HIFU treatment in 2009, no insurance covered it and it wasn't approved by the FDA for use in the USA, so I had to go to Germany and pay for it - totally out of pocket, myself. If there is a question about payment, it is most likely because of insurance coverage that may or may not pay for the procedure, which is expensive and you may be stuck with the bill. In that case, other good prostate cancer treatment options are available. If you want the treatment and Medicare won't cover it, change plans - don't sign up for a Medicare Advantage Plan (Part C), keep "ORIGINAL Medicare Parts A&B" and get a quality Medicare "Supplement", which gives you choices to use any doctor or hospital that accepts patients over age 65 (Medicare Advantage Plans DO NOT allow you to choose). You WILL have to pay a premium for a Medicare Supplement Plan - NOTHING worthwhile is FREE, no matter what the TV ads say...

My husband's consultation with "Peretsman" as he kept referring to himself was on a Friday afternoon at 4pm. I don't know if it was because of this that he lacked any human decency, or if this is his general demeanor. We were mocked when we made statements concerning my husband's health. Nothing was explained to us. My copay should be sent to the folks that manufacture the HIFU brochure, because that was the only information we got about the procedure. His only concern was what we did for a living, how much $ we made, and what insurance did we have to pay for the procedure. He didn't have an ounce of compassion towards the man whose life has been drastically changed by a cancer diagnosis. You, sir may deal with this every day, but this is new for us. You need to do better!

Dr Peretsman and Jess are a great team. They are very professional. I recommend them all the time. The BEST!!!!

As a patient with intimate knowledge of the health care industry, I can say unequivocally that Dr. Peretsman sets the gold standard for quality care. From the moment I called for an appointment I was treated with complete respect, professionalism, and compassion by every person on his staff. When choosing a doctor for potentially life-changing procedures, it is critical to find the combination of experience, knowledge, and an ability to clearly explain treatment options. Dr. Peretsman easily checked all these boxes and helped guide my wife and I through the toughest medical journey of our lives. He literally saved my life. Always available, always kind, and always professional. This man and his staff define how great medical care should be delivered.

Waited a month for my appointment. It was cancelled by His office. Called to reschedule and they said I had to wait another month to see him. The receptionist tried to get me to see a PA but I didn't want that. She got very angry and rude so I told her to forget it. Terriable place. And he was my doctor. No good if you can't get in to see him.

My husband was referred to Dr. Peretsman and we could not have been happier. His knowlege and experience helped make a difficult experience (prostate cancer) easier to understand and handle. His whole office has a caring approach and his PA Jessica makes the patient feel comfortable and is very much appreciated as well. We would not change his experience with this office. The ease of checking in for an appointment is a plus. My husbands appointments always were on time and the staff was super nice and helpful with any questions. God brought Dr. Peretsman into our lives and we are so thankful!

Dr Peretsman was quick to diagnose and treat my symptoms with 100% success.His knowledge was very evident from the start and a true responsive professional ,throughout the process.His nurse Joann is a fantastic communicator additionally.I don't think any of us like to have medical issues but, these guys made things straight forward, with their excellent care and knowledge.

Dr. Peretsman did surgery on me two years ago. I scheduled an appointment to see him. It was a one month wait. I got a call frpm his office a week before my appointment that it was canceled. So i called to reschedule. They told me I had to wait another month to see him. So I asked to see another doctor there. They said no they don't do that but I could see a PA. I told her no I wanted to see my Doctor. She got angry and very rude. She said that was all she had was a another month wait. So I told her to forget it. It is bad when you can't get an appointment to see the doctor who operated on you.

Dr Peretsman turned a very negative situation into very positive result, I would recommend him thoroughly for those needing prostrate surgery/treatment.Great follow up and surrounds himself with a wonderful team.

My first visit I waited about 30 minutes before I asked how much longer will it take before I’m seen. The receptionist explain to me after the lady patient whenever he is done. I said ok and sat back down. When I was called into his office he stated in a nasty tone. I have to notate after my patients however you were so eager to come back here I couldn’t finish. From that I snapped. My second visit he was questioning about a review he had received. And stated after asking me a few questions I thought it was you because it was a woman that submitted it. To assume and say that plus some more rude things I knew then I wasn’t coming back. That’s another thing he said. Why people take time to write a review and then come back to him for help. Sir I would never use my insurance again to come to you. Then he charged me 100.00 to faxed documents to my disability company. Worst service by far
