By far one of the best doctors that I have visited. He was on the spot with my issue and he scheduled my surgery in a timely manner. At all times he communicated with me and my wife about what was going on and the expectations.

Another doctor recommended Dr McKim and I was so very happy he did. He was perhaps the best I’ve encountered. Professional, knowledgeable, patient, made sure I understood exactly what was ahead of me. His staff was superb and so very kind.

Dr. McKim was very good at explaining what needed to be done when I saw him about a spot on my kidney. He removed a tumor which was cancer. He had great bedside manners and during my surgery since we were struggling with the pandemic called my husband personally to give him updates 3 times. My husband and I were exceptionally pleased with the staff and the time personal he spent with us.

Unbelievable smooth process made of a very disagreeable and unpleasant surgery for a man, TURP. All the staff made me feel comfortable and put me at ease. Dr McKim's exam was informative and he listened well to my concerns. The day of surgery was also processed smoothly and professionally by the Atrium staff. After surgery for the 6 days with a catheter were painless (but unpleasant by nature of course) with only 1 day (3rd day) of a slightly raised temp. Took no pain pills (tramadol). Removal of the catheter was not the dreaded event I had imagined. No bleeding, no burning or pain urinating and bladder control is returning very fast, 2 to 3 days. I'm totally blown away with how well this procedure went. Thank you Dr Mckim. You did a great job!!

DR Mckim so far have been a pretty good Dr. that listen to you , and explain everything to you.He is going to do my surgery, I trust in him alot to do the BEST he can and put the rest in GODS hand.

Doctor is only as good as his staff, and the organization he is affiliated with. The Ballantyne location is a 3 ring circus. Went in January 2018, and the gentleman before me arrived for his appointment, only to be told he didn't have an appointment. On my second visit, I arrived early as usual, only to be told I didn't have an appointment. Staff was extremely rude, unaccommodating, and unprofessional. Ended up leaving without seeing the doctor. Will not return. Research your doctor!

Dr. McKim does not listen, has no bedside manners and no respect for other people in general. He wouldn't do an exam and was very rude. This after waiting months for an appointment.

Dr McKim has removed my kidney stones and is monitoring prostrate. Very compassionate and explains everything. He is the only doctor I use when picking a new health plan.
