List of Tamer Mehmet Yalcinkaya's Reviews
I decided to make an appointment here based on the reviews I had seen. I went in for my appointment hopeful someone could finally shed some light on my "unexplained infertility" diagnosis from previous providers. At first, I was hopeful, the environment was nice and welcoming. I noticed while speaking to the doctor, he didn't ask me very much about my issues or dismissed my concerns altogether while seemingly bashing my previous RE. I was immediately told I was overweight and needed to pay $200-$800 for weight loss medication before receiving any treatment and that all they could do was give me metformin and hope for the best until then. He diagnosed me with PCOS just because I was overweight when all 3 of my previous providers tested me for this and found NO trace of the condition. I was disappointed. They never issued me a follow up until I reached out to them asking what I needed to do next and they told me I would have to pay another $240 to come in just to do a "weight check" before they could do anything else. I received a bill in the mail for almost $600, trying to charge me another $400 for the visit that I had already paid for. Im currently disputing this. To be honest, I wish I would have just stuck with my original RE, my weight was never an issue with them and they always offered me additional treatment such as Clomid or Letrozole which did help my cycles. I wouldn't waste my money here. The simple bloodwork (which I never received from them) and medicine they provided I could have easily obtained from my current GP. Also, the metformin they provided couldn't be filled because the practitioner they have sign everything, is not registered to write prescriptions in the system so I had to go to my regular OB and have him write it which he was reluctant to do so because he didn't think PCOS was the issue. All in all, I would look at other doctors before coming here. This place literally made me feel like I had been scammed. They took my money, charged me a bunch of fees then left me in the dark. I rescheduled with my old RE and am currently still searching for the issue. The money I sank here, was a waste.
Dr Y was the most caring, patient, and understanding doctor we could have asked for. After trying for years (naturally and with medication), he gave us a beautiful baby via IVF. Highly recommend.
Dr. Yalcinkaya is hands down the best reproductive endocrinologist! My husband and I had tried for years to have a second child and had five failed IUIs. Once visiting Dr. Y, my meds were changed and we had a very successful IVF that resulted in our twins being born. Thank you, Dr. Y!!
We would not have our son without his help! He is simply the best!
Amazing experience, I thank him for having a child
Dr. Yalcinkaya is the best in his field. My husband and I had a wonderful experience with this doctor and his practice. Words cannot express our gratitude. If you are looking for positive results and the best, we highly recommend him.
Run away from this man!!! I had surgery with him in 2010 that was supposed to be laproscopic. When I woke up, I had been opened up. I was told that the myoma was too large too remove laproscopically. These were all LIES. A year later I began having horrible pain. I contacted him and he swore it could not be his surgery. I requested appointments and he kept cancelling them and pushing them out. He was intentionally pushing it to pass the 2 year statue of limitations. Later on I discovered he had punctured my intestines during the laparoscopy and was the true reason for the change in plan and my pain. he is DECEITFUL and will put patients´ well being at risk to save his own skin. DO NOT TRUST HIM!!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
