Uha Reddy's Online Review Report Card

I've been seeing Dr Reddy for quite some years. It was the best recommendation my GP did!!! I am thankful for both Dr Reddy & Dr Jennie Dong. They are wonderful doctors!! They know exactly how to help with your Diabetes. I've been diabetic since I was 16 years old and I've seen numerous doctors. They know how to treat patients and help with your glucose numbers. Also, very encouraging & positive to help you make changes with your habits. I'm very thankful for the front staff as well. I've always received friendly calls from the girls & gentleman working on my RX or having to move my appointment. I do have to say, knowing that the medronic girl is only in on certain days, I make sure I do not cancel for any reason. The appointments do book up & do take a little bit for them to call you back. I know they have to download my pump & that takes a little bit of time. Other than that, I can't express how great this office is!! I've dealt with every single employee in here and have not 1 negative thing to say!!Thank you Dr Reddy, Dr Dong & staff!!

I'm not really sure why but she refused to see me as a patient after years. Maybe because I never understood her answers as they were always the same. Then I start having excessive weight gain and my cortisol is rising. It has risen from a 3 to 23 which is high and she can't explain anything but stress. Under another mds care it keeps rising. I'm not looking for a disease but for help. You don't gain weight for no reason at least not 15 lbs. I felt devastated and hopeless and still do. To me that's not quality care. I don't know the role this man Sean has in her office as he has not been there as long as I have but he talks down to patients and is condescending. He talked to me as if I was an idiot. May dr reddy didn't like the fact I told her that. She also got mad at me for using the patient portal stating it's only for emergencies which must have been a new rule because that's how I've always contacted her as do many people with many doctors as no live person ever answer the phone. If you need understanding. Care and compassion, she's not the right doc for you. She may be very respected in the medical community but her bedside manner is non existent. The assistants don't even know how to spell the names of medication. I'm glad it's over and I'm now getting treatment to lower my cortisol. It was a blessing she refused to see me. Now I'm getting the help I needed and answers to my questions.

Grateful for the time Dr. Reddy has spent with us as a healthcare provider. However, would not recommend her from a patient care perspective, especially for immigrant families. Dr. Reddy lacks empathy when dealing with patients and doesn't show a strong sense of competence when asked questions to help clarify understanding. She should work on her soft skills as well as her hard skills in the application of medicine. Her ability to take into account the patient's history of health issues when providing care is shaky at best.

I have been seeing Dr. Reddy for 6 years now and she has helped me tremendously. She is very patient, knowledgeable and thorough. She always takes her time and answers all my questions. She has a busy practice but she is definitely worth the wait. The office is very clean and the staff are always friendly.  She is such a great doctor and I feel very lucky to have found her. I am beyond satisfied with her care and would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat.

I never write a review for doctors but I feel I had to for this MD and to help others. If you are a busy person do not bother coming here. My first appointment (scheduled three months out), I was seeing by her assistant because she was traveling. They did not bother calling to let me know so I could decide wether I would wait for the doctor to see me. They also sent me to do some test with an incomplete order and made me waste my time going there , fasting and waking up early without being able to get the test done. Now I will have to call them to send me something workable so I can get my lab work done and wait other three months to see this doctor. Do yourself a favor and go to a doctor that at least cares about people.

I've been a patient for more than 5 years. She has been very discouraging the last few visits. No matter what I eat, or the exercise I've done is right in her eyes. She wants me to take more meds every time I go. I feel worse when I leave her office and have decided not to return.

Called to schedule an appointment with a Dr. Reddy whom I've seen for years and was told that I would need a referral from a my primary, who is also at Tryon, to schedule the appointment. I offered to send over my chart from Atrium with my history along with Dr. Reddy's notes that it was time for my appointment and the type of appointment that needed to be scheduled and the receptionist advised she would send an urgent message to the Dr. Reddy's nurse, whom again I've seen for 4 years, but then hung up without actually getting my name, number, or any contact information. I was hoping to follow her to Tryon for a better customer service experience than Atrium but so far not impressed and will now we looking for another Specialist.

This place is terrible.  I tried to make an appointment but whoever answers the phone makes it hard to do. She put me on hold for over 10 minutes until the phone disconnects.  I call back and she said I hung up which I didn't.  Then says she is on another line and puts me back on hold for about the same time.  I finally hung up and called my Dr back and let them know what happened.  They are not going to use this place for referral anymore.

I really hate to give this place a rating because I have not been here yet. My friend referred me to this Dr. When I called to make an appointment & ask the receptionist if she accepted Tricare insurance. Let's just say the receptionist needs to go back to billing school & up date herself on what it means to have Tricare West. The West part just means your on the West Cost. Really! California is West Coast. Why would I have any other when I live in California. Tricare Select. Means it's a PPO not HMO. Still West Coast. Please educate your staff. Had your receptionist been a little more nicer & not so quick to push me off the phone maybe I could have made my appointment. Just for that reason I won't be coming here.

Staff is rude, soonest appointment they have is always 3-4 months out. Every appointment you wait about an hour before to be seen. So put aside about 3 hours for each appointment.
