I want to start off with a huge “Thank you!!!” Dr. Townsend is a wonderful doctor and very knowledgeable. I am the patient’s daughter. I was so worried when we were told the diagnose of my dads cancer from a different doctor in a different state. We live on the border so we are able to travel south or north and my dad was blessed with great insurance that allowed us to be able to get a second opinion. We met with Dr. Damani Who was also VERY nice! Dr.Damani did a full exam of my father and we were told right then that it was going to be a more difficult surgery and he was upfront and suggested us to Dr. Townsend. We waited patiently to get in with Dr.Townsend and we are so glad we did. Dr.Townsend seemed to know what he was talking about and had options and didn’t push us in one direction. The doctor we saw from the start in SC wanted to schedule surgery early as that month and acted like it was no big deal and my dad had other issues we were concerned about and the doctor did not seem to care. This is long winded but be sure of your doctor before you make a decision. We didn’t even have to second guess our opinion after meeting with Dr.Townsend. From day one until after my dads surgery he has been nothing but caring and professional. We are pleased with our choice. Thank you Dr.Townsend and staff for being one of the best teams!! Definitely a 5 star team.

Professional as well as very patient explaining the procedure with me and not at me. Kind and helpful during the whole process. I felt safe which was important to me. Anyone having second thoughts about your urologist might want to see Doctor Townsend as I highly recommend him as well as his team. Not to mention he did great with my surgery after years high blood pressure, I have since stop my blood pressure medicine due to it’s normal now.
